The hotel was recently upgraded and it is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are nicely decorated and furnished. The bed is very comfortable and there was a nice greenbelt view in the back rooms. Very quiet! Wine is offered to adult guests in the early evening and it was very relaxing to sit in front of the cozy lobby... More

We were trying to get close to Paradise before our practice climb to Camp Muir so we made a reservation here. What a coup! The rooms were spacious, and quiet, had mini fridges and microwaves. They served a buffet breakfast in the morning and to top if off their coffee wasn't bad.

Late in the day, needed a place to stay and we have a dog. Looking for a pet-friendly place. Stopped at another motel in Ashford which didn't take dogs but they suggested this Lodge. What a find! A jewel in the middle of nowhere. We were greeted by Diane who checked us in. She very considerately gave us a room... More

We made the mistake of staying at the National Park Inn our first night: no internet and tiny rooms. Driving by Nisqually, we called the next day and moved there. Wifi, evening wine, spacious rooms, fireplace in the lobby, and gracious hosts....what more could you ask for. Oh, and it was $40 less a night than the Natl Park Inn!!!... More

Pride of ownership and management is what this place is all about. There is a hard-working, friendly married couple who manage the property. The Lodge was spotless. The bed and linens were perfect. Our room was huge. Loved having a micowave and frig in the room even though we didn't use them. We slept with the window open. It was... More

I was very pleased with our recent trip to Nisqually Lodge. It was clean, comfortable, and affordable. The breakfast was hot and included eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, and more. And the complimentary wine each evening was a great way to end the day. It's about 6 minutes from the entrance to Mt. Rainier, making it a very convenient location. And... More

The Nisqually Lodge is a 24 room building that is currently undergoing renovations. By summer 2015 all the rooms should be remodeled. Currently just the lobby has been updated. With renovations coming you would think they would have let the rooms go but this was not the case. We stayed in 1 of the 2 king size bed rooms. The... More

We were so fortunate to find this gem. The lobby felt like a ski chalet with a roaring fire and grand staircase. The staff was receptive and answered all our questions with a smile. We loved being able to relax in the lobby with complimentary wine and enjoy the fire and the decor before retiring to our room for the... More
