Nice, convenient place to stay just a few miles from the southwest entrance to Mt. Rainier. The breakfast is reasonably good with a waffle maker but liquid eggs that have no taste. Cereals, yogurt, the usual. Very clean, efficient check-in and a nice fireplace to meet other guests and read in the evening.

I stayed here two nights in mid September to do hiking at Mt Rainier. The room I got was clean in the bathroom but the housekeeping did not vacuum all corners of the rooms so there was dirt and dead bugs under the heater. The bed itself was comfortable but the top bedding and blankets were not very comfortable, kind... More

Rates here are up 30%, as hotel has new management putting in "improvements". - Keurig machine in rooms - useless if there is only one coffee option which is not good! - microwave in rooms - what would one microwave to eat in a dark motel room? - bathroom lights - extremely bright lights can blind one when turning on,... We stayed 2 nights for a family wedding. Did have a nice room with a balcony. Frig did not keep things cold. Ended up using a cooler. We went hiking early one morning. Came back at 1 to get showered for wedding. Maid arrived to clean room. Told her she would have to come back in 30 min. She said... More

Nice building and good rooms and breakfast but we did not get a very friendly welcome. We had a room upstairs and there is no lift so we struggled with our two heavy cases. The manager and wife watched us struggle and eventually we had to open cases and carry half the contents up the stairs and make 5 trips.... More

We stayed here 2 nights the first week of September (family of 6 with kids aged 2, 3, 9, 10). We had portable cots for the 2 younger kids. The rooms were adequate and clean and the breakfast was decent (waffles, yogurt, coffee, juice, cereal). The Mt Rainier entrance is 8 minutes away. The visitors center at Paradise is 40... More

All the comforts of home! Country setting, very appropriate for the mountains. The room was very clean, ammenities were great. They offer local wine to guests, nice little bonus. Diane at the front desk was very helpful and so sweet.

We stayed here 8/3 - 8/6, 2014 for our visit to the west side of Mt. Rainier National Park. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our room included flat screen TV and wifi. The place was quiet, and adult guests were served a glass of wine in the evening. It was a good value for the area, and we... More

We just spent two nights there and loved it! Diane at the front desk made us immediately feel at home. Our room was much more than we expected and was exceptionally comfortable...we spent two days hiking in the Mt. Rainier park and it was such a great place to come back to. The room was complete with everything we needed.... More

If you expect modern and full luxury hotel facilities, don't come here! Expect pure mountain basics! Somewhat smaller facility, but well placed to visit the wonderfull Mount Rainier Park. Large rooms with microwave, fridge and free wifi. Good beds. Very clean hotel and rooms. Rather basic breakfast buffet included. Unfortunately, breakfastroom is to small. Can be some noisy when room... More
