This is a very simple but clean inn. No TV or telephone. Our room was small but adequate. Very nice owner. It is reasonable priced and suited our needs. We were told by the desk clerk that her aunt had sold the inn and the people had trashed it and did not make payments to the owner. We were glad... More

We had a basic room but it was clean and the the owner was very nice. We had an added bonus of having a microwave in the room and we were able to move it to the table to plug it in and heat up a cereal we had brought which saved us from going out to breakfast. Price was... More

We planned our trip late and this was one of the last rooms in Ashford available. We had two queen beds. The room was very clean, which was appreciated. It had the bare necessities and nothing more; if you're looking for fancy things like tissue to blow your nose, shampoo that isn't liquid softsoap, a television, phone (cell phones didn't... More

Very friendly and helpful owner. She is a very cheerful lady, even offer me a small discount. She told me I am probably the first Singaporean that stay in her motel. Clean and well maintained on the inside. Only problem is no in-room wifi, I have to go to the office to use the wifi though. Enjoyed my stay here.... More

"Rustic" is the best term for this place, in Ashford, WA, which is also fairly rustic. Heck, the whole area is, since a major reason for Ashford's existence is the mountaineering folks who scale nearby Mt. Rainier. Most of those folks don't want much more than a clean no-frills place to crash before and after their mountain expeditions; this inn... More

I was lucky to stay at the Rainier Valley Inn this year. Meegan (the manager) is an absolute joy to work with. I had a minor plumbing problem, which their plumber probably repaired very quickly, but rather than inconvenience me, Meegan moved me to a larger room at no extra charge. I'd give it five stars, but the wifi was... More

When we drove up, we were ready to cancel and leave. It was quite run down compared to all the other places along the highway. It ended up a nice big room, had a microwave and a coffee maker, but there was no TV or hair dryer. In the bathroom there was a container of soft soap on sink and... More

Our family of 3 booked this place because there was nothing else available on the weekend of the 4th of July. There is no fridge but we had a cooler because we were going camping. We had our little grill and we just cooked and relaxed! the lady who was in the office was really friendly and even offered us... More

My husband and I and our brand new exchange student from Thailand did not actually stay here. The room appeared very neat and clean, but was much too small to suit us. I did not see a shower, though that seems unlikely. Meegan, the office staff was great! She was very gracious and friendly about "backing us out" of the... More

First to give the place its due: It is clean and it is located quite close to the entrance of the National Park. But it is very basic for what it offers. There is no phone, TV, frig,or in-room wifi. (There is wifi if you sit in the office or outside in front of the office.) No breakfast or food... More
