We stayed in the Heron cabin and, though we were aware that other cabins were nearby because we saw them as we drove up, we did not feel like anyone was going to disturb our privacy or that there was even a world outside our cabin. Of course, there was a world outside the cabin and it had a creek... More

Storm king has very nice rustic cabins with a little bit of whimsical humor, from being greeted by Mr noodles and shadow the cat to the little hidden gems in the actual cabins. The deer came through right in front of our cabin without a care in the world. Each cabin was nice and cozy, also secluded enough to forget... More

Stormking Spa is a nice concept with very well built, innovative cabins in which to stay near Mt. Rainier's park entrance. We stayed 3 nights in the Bear cabin. It's Stormking's newest cabin and is one of the nicer places we have stayed. The cabin is spacious and has enough space to move around easily. The bathroom is very large... More

My wife is pregnant and this was our last trip with just the two of us for a while ;) We stayed at the Bear cabin, which is just awesome! Beautiful, quit, comfortable! Also very close to the park entrance. Deborah provided us with a day hiking book which was perfect. We did one every day! Despite the rainy week... More

We stayed in the Bear cabin on our August vacation to Mt. Rainier. The cabin was beautifully decorated and smelled of cedar. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. A coffee pot, snacks, movies, games, and a small fridge are provided in the cabin also. The back porch... More

We spent 4 nights in the Bear Cabin over Labor Day weekend and had a marvelous time. The cabin was built in the yurt style and the skylight over the bed was wonderful. In the middle of the night I could look up and see a myriad of stars. But for those who prefer to sleep late, bring an eye... More

We stayed at Storm King (Eagle Cabin) and we loved it. The cabin has a main room with queen bed, sitting area, ref rig, microwave, coffee maker, and all the plates and utensils for two. The open bathroom and dual shower was such a great idea. The back covered deck had a four person hit tub. Although about 150 feet... More

We stayed at Eagle, the cabin about 1/2 mile down the road from the others. It's the original cabin where the owner used to have a spa. With a covered hot tub, king size bed and double shower, it's ideal for a romantic and luxurious stay after a hard day's hike on Mt. Ranier. Not that you should ever need... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the Heron Cabin and absolutely loved it. The hosts where very gracious and helpful, the cabin was beautiful and met all our needs. Loved exploring the mountain by day and then coming back to the cabin that was so perfect and peaceful. We ate in town one night and the other barbecued... More

We stayed at the Bear Cabin for four nights and just had a great time. Our first day we went on a rather brutal hike. To check into Stormking was like stepping into another, welcoming world. The room was so quiet and secluded feeling. Everything we needed for a nice stay was provided, including bathrobes! The hostess, Deborah, was very... More
