I am reluctant to write about this place because it is so cool I want it to be available next time we are in the area. What a find. Beautiful setting. Charming cabins. Each cabin is different. Each one is fully furnished with everything you need. Two full spas on site. Great walking trails in an old growth forest. Quiet,... More

We are typically hotel people and this was a little outside the comfort zone for my family but I am thrilled we stayed here. We arrived and got the keys that were left for us and had to find our cabin which took us about 20 minutes. As we were told our cabin didn't have its own bathroom but was... More

My wife and I stayed at Wellspring in the Tioga lodge. This place could have been phenomenal, but the management is sloppy. My issues: 1. There is no one physically on the premises. It was abnormally hot when we went, so I called ahead to inquire if they had AC or fans. The call center rep, after searching for a... More

AAaarrgghhhh..you've caught us not being perfect again ! Honestly, we do try so hard to keep after those little spider webs..they at least are catching any bugs that might have slipped in when the door is open, but no, we do not want guests to be disappointed that we missed a spider web. The policy we decided on regarding soaps... More

We stayed one night in the Three Bears cabin which had plenty of room for our toddler to roam. Appreciated the toy and play area in the living room, and loved the toddler-sized rocking chair and table! I felt that it was a little spendy for our small family, but it was a large space with a kitchen and would... More

Stayed in the Treehouse for 1 night. Great if you're looking for a different experience - it was fun. Very close to Mt. Rainier National Park and a couple pretty good restaurants. Easy drive to Elbe, which has a neat restaurant in the train car and where you can take the Mt. Rainier scenic railroad ride. The bed was comfortable... More

As many visitors voted, Wellspring is an extraodinary place with advantages, but to our experience also a lot of major disadvantages. According to the presentation on the web and considering the rates we espected a quite luxurious spa place and were deeply disappointed. What we found was a self-service check-in, no mobile or internet access, a worn-out cabin with a... More

We stayed in Tamarack and Tieton Cabins which are very log cabiny and homey, gorgeously appointed. When we drove up to Wellspring Spa and rounded the circle drive (that we had seen on the website with the map of cabins) we were wondering where the cabins were. They are all hidden in the woods with a walking path to access... More

We stayed in "The Nest" which is a really cute place. It is part of the larger Tatoosh Lodge building, but has a separate entrance. The bathroom is on the lower floor next to the entrance. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the bedroom. The room is quite small and has a suspended bed... More

Wellspring has a full-service spa, which I did not check out. But I can imagine that if I was from that region I could spend a whole week there, relaxing and taking advantage of all they have. I stayed at Wellspring because I could have a big space to stay in while visiting Mt Rainier, while paying a much cheaper... More

We stayed in the Turiya cabin and immediately hopped on the bed to enjoy the view outside the glass wall: waterfall, babbling brook, pond, lush greenery. Turiya was like a dream: rustic but classy. Comfortable bed, gas fireplace, wonderful decor. Friends stayed in the Treehouse (not for the height- or claustro-phobic), a quirky and tiny loft bed up a ladder.... More
