My husband and I recently enjoyed a celebration dinner at the Lyncombe Lodge Hotel Restaurant (which is open to non-residents). It surpassed all our expectations. We had 3 courses each, all of which were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a delightful setting, with fresh linen cloths and napkins and the staff were very friendly and efficient. We... More

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in mid April 2015. The hotel is nestled away in a beautiful setting overlooking the local countryside. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and welcoming. A special mention to Josie who was our "go to" member of staff at the hotel. Our room was spacious & clean and the Lodge... More

So many have written excellent reviews about this hotel and I endorse them all. My wife and I decided a three night stay with our Sheltie dog in Somerset would do us the world of good. It did! We asked for a chalet room and had a wonderful view over the countryside and valley from the doorway. The room was... More

Whilst visiting Sidcot School for a school reunion my husband and I joined four other Sidcotians for an excellent stay at this very reasonable hotel. We enjoyed a twin room with plenty of space and an ensuite bathroom with over bath shower for £90pn including breakfast. On both mornings I availed myself of the smoked haddock and poached egg. Excellent... More

We stayed in one of the lodges with our dog Sam. The room was very cosy and perfect for our needs. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay a good one. The food was first class. We had an evening meal and a very hearty breakfast, all beautifully cooked. The area was... More

Stopped here late 2014 and I have to say that the hotel in general is fab. It's a family run business, with a finer finish. Nick always goes that extra mile to please his customers. Our stay and food was fantastic and the dog loved it too! Cannot wait to go back!

I treated my wife to a Birthday meal and a night's stay at this small but very comfortable hotel nestled on the side of one of the hills in the Mendips around 8 miles east of Weston Super Mare. The food was sublime, very well presented and reasonably priced. Our double room was clean and tidy and the view from... More

Stayed here for two nights. It's in a lovely location on a hill right beside a dry ski slope. We ate dinner on one night, it was fine, and breakfast both days which was ample. The room was a good size and well equipped. Staff were very helpful and polite. My only further comment would be on the hotel decor.... More

Have lived on the doorstep of Lyncombe Lodge for many years, but hadn't used the restaurant. That was a mistake. Had a meal there with friends, and everything was absolutely delicious. Tucked away by the ski slope in Churchill, it is a family run hotel with 13 rooms and conference/wedding facilities. Although I haven't seen the rooms, the reception and... More

Lovely setting, room nice, lovely and warm (it was January!) All staff very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely walk through the woods which were close by. Breakfast was probably one of the best we've had while staying away. We booked this on a Wowcher deal which was a great price, definitely worth looking out for.
