Very quiet hotel with a nice restaurant for evening meals. Think there were other places to eat but nowhere in the immediate vicinity so nice to be able to walk downstairs and have a proper meal. The room had a hairdryer which was handy and tea/biscuits were replenished daily. Full control over radiators in room which was good as was... More

Friends' daughter had her wedding reception here and it is a whacky place. The photos were taken in the garden and the dry ski slope has a bend right next to the garden - skiers shouting congratulations as they whizzed passed! There is a very steep drive to the carpark - beware! The service was superb and the food was... More

This is a quiet country retreat, about a third of a mile from the nearest road. If you open your bedroom window, you hear birdsong. People who love city breaks might not like it here, but if you value tranquility, well mannered staff and beautiful unspoilt countryside then give this place a go. Dinner - home made blue cheese and... More

Plus side: Excellent breakfast and service. Clean bed linen. We stayed in on of the chalets., which looked like in bad need of refurbishment. there was a large crack in the ceiling. The room smelled musty and in the wardrobe was evidence of dampness. The walls are not sound proof and you can hear people cough, noise of the shower... More

Stayed here for one night after a day trip to Weston super mare, along with my wife and granddaughter. After an uphill climb through woods to reach the hotel, we found a wonderful, quiet locale nestled in between a dry run ski slope and a walkers paradise, with some beautiful scenery. This small hotel ( about 14 en-suite rooms )... More

Lyncombe lodge, Churchill is the perfect hotel if you're travelling with dogs. Very pet friendly with dogs allowed in the bar and rooms. The hotel backs onto woods for brilliant walking. Highly recommend. Food was great and really friendly people too.

This beautiful lodge is located just outside Churchill in a small forest location and makes for an excellent stay. The overly friendly staff made it even more of a pleasure and whenever I will be in the area, I will stay there again. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, except maybe a minibar, although the bar and... More

Stopped over night enroute to Cornwall. Hotel is first class. Food is well presented and delious. Accommodation is good clean and comfortable. We stayed in one of the lodges designated for dog owners as we were accompanied by our pet. The standard of accommodation is not compromised by the fact you have a dog wirh you. If I have a... More

We have just returned from an overnight stay at Lyncombe Lodge Hotel and had a really nice time. The room we had was comfortable and quiet. We ate in the restaurant and found the food good and reasonably priced. The staff all work extremely hard and were very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here, especially if... My husband and I recently enjoyed a celebration dinner at the Lyncombe Lodge Hotel Restaurant (which is open to non-residents). It surpassed all our expectations. We had 3 courses each, all of which were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a delightful setting, with fresh linen cloths and napkins and the staff were very friendly and efficient. We... More
