We stayed in the Leopard Hills room which was accessed by quite a sharp stairway. The room was lovely, steps up to the bathroom and very comfy bed. Staff here were very friendly, there's a lovely courtyard for when the sun is shining and choice of beverage was great. We booked ahead for tea and glad we did, the wine... More

We stayed here with friends for 2 nights. The staff were friendly & welcoming & we enjoyed our stay. Most of the food was delicious, except the cod dish which was so salty we couldn't eat it. There was a power cut on the first morning so we had to get up early if we wanted a cooked breakfast (which... More

We booked a night away in the Cotswolds thinking a walk, a meal and a few drinks finished off by a lovely night's sleep and a full English breakfast. The room was pleasant and the walk completed so we thought we would have wash before our evening meal but the water ran lukewarm. We mentioned this to the reception who... More

When I travel back to the UK this is the place I always stay, or its sister hotel The Wychwood Inn in the same village. Gorgeous rooms, friendly staff and owners, fantastic food, wonderful location, amazing breakfasts cooked to perfection....I highly recommend both these Inns and a perfect place to explore the Cotswolds.

Myself and my husband stayed here during Cheltenham Race week as it was within a 30/40 minute drive from Cheltenham. We loved the intimate cosy feel of the place as it was full of little nooks and crannies. We climbed a really narrow steep stairs to our room which was called Leopard hills. There was tea and coffee available to... More

We stayed for to nights at Easter weekend. On arrival, Beverley made us very welcome, and booked us a table in the bar for dinner. Food was excellent, and we felt very much at home, - our dog made herself comfortable under the table whilst we had dinner. Breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared and very tasty. Wonderful walks through woodland... More

We stayed for one night on easter sunday! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome the minute we arrived to when we departed! The food was excellent! The only downside in our visit was no hot water for a bath!!!

We had three nights at this hotel and what could have been a lovely experience was ruined by the racist and downright unfriendly manageress. Not a smile or a hello from her throughout our stay there. The bedrooms were nice enough, but ours overlooked the gravelled front court, so that cars crunching over the gravel from early in the morning... More

Nice pub garden, well away from the road. Friendly staff, pretty bedroom. Our stay was spoiled by no hot water for an evening bath. Dinner ok. Good atmosphere in bar. Good walks from the pub but book with walks missing!

Three-day break which we enjoyed very much. The food was superb, whether lamb rump, pork belly or duck. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location for touring the Cotswolds is very central. Will be back, thanks all at The Lamb Inn.
