We had our small family wedding reception at Percys and had the most amazing time!! Tina and Tony could not have been more helpful and fun to be around. We took over all the rooms for the weekend and every guest was blown away by how wonderful the place was. A great retreat in the country to get away, relax... More

Booked in celebration of a friend's birthday, we escaped to Percy's as two couples in search of a break from city life and in search of quality homely food. We were not disappointed. Tina and Tony are the perfect partnership and provide a 5 star service in every respect. Having enjoyed a walk around Lake Roadford before arriving at the... More

We went here for dinner and had a wonderful evening. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely. We had a drink first in the beautifully converted barn and then went through to the restaurant. The food was absolutely first class. Each course was original, locally sourced and cooked to perfection. Lovely wine too. The owner was friendly and attentive.

Arriving on Sunday afternoon the 17th August 2014, we were met by Tony who guided us to our accomodation in Chervil, (the rooms being named after herbs), The spotlessly clean room had a comfortable bed, ample wardrobe storage, a large ensuite and a sitting area with a leather settee. Alongside the tea & coffee facilities were two slices of homemade... More

Decided to visit Percy`s, having read very complimentary reviews. The decision was correct. We stayed in a very large open plan suite with a spotlessly clean and well appointed bathroom. The sort of extras eg filter coffee, two types of tea, a fridge with water and fresh milk were all there, but what differentiates this hotel is its personality. We... More

A surprise birthday trip to Percy's for the night with dinner - we've been meaning to come here for a while. We should have come sooner - everything about the place oozes calm, understated luxury, comfort and peace. Thanks so very much for a great review. Glad you had a good experience for your birthday surprise. The potatoes are a variety called Franceline - they have been a favourite of mine for many years so I am thrilled that you liked them. Just stayed for the one night but it was great - location, service, food and facilities exactly what we were after and makes it a really special little place. Loved seeing the sheep on the farm and the friendly cats!
