Pollaughan farm is THE BEST cottage we have ever stayed in. Tim and Valerie have got it very right. Please do book here if you would like a holiday that will live with you for ever. More

Just returned from our 4th trip here. The place is brilliant, the cottages are lovely and well equiped and perfect if you have kids. Valerie and Tim lay everything on for you and nothing is too much trouble. Each morning Tim or Valerie take the kids round to feed the ducks, goats, pigs and chickens then collect the eggs. Our... There are not many places that I’ve been to on holiday and genuinely felt that the owners have put so much love, care and thought into their business. However, it does not feel like a business, you feel like a friend staying in their barns. Everything is thought of and is there……toys, trampoline, bikes for the kids, fully equipped kitchen... More

We spent a week at Pollaughan with our 2 ½ year old twins and another family and had the loveliest holiday. Tim and Valerie have thought of everything and have created holiday cottages which are perfect for young families (and child-free families alike!). We stayed in “Meadows” which was equipped with cots, monitors, highchairs, toys, books, ride-ons and a trampoline... More

This place is amazing. The cottages were clean and had everything you would expect from a self catering cottage. The owners are incredibaly friendly and always went out of there way to help and offer advice on what to do. The children loved as they went out every morning with 'Farmer Tim' to feed all the animals and came back... More

Having vowed I would never return to the same place twice, we're now spending our 4th holiday in a row at Pollaughan Farm. It is, quite frankly, perfect. The cottages are well designed, practical, spotlessly clean and contain everything you need plus a bit more. The location is perfectly peaceful and rural, while within easy travelling distance of a whole... More

Stayed in Meadows for 5 days, and it was just perfect! beautiful setting, incredibly comfortable accommodation. own garden area to relax in in evenings, with lots of friendly animals to provide amusement. would be great for children but we just went as a couple - it was ideal as a mini-break. lots of lovely walks nearby, with pub + shop... We went here for a week last June with our 4 year old son and I can honestly say it is one of the best holidays I have ever had. The accommodation is lovely, a whole house to yourself, fully equipped and with some lovely extras (log fire, toys for the kids, DVDs to watch, complete kitchen, private garden). Tim... More

We have now stayed at Pollaughan Meadows cottage for the last 3 years in January. We love that the cottage is easy, warm and perfectly equipped, with a wonderful, relaxing setting. Tim and Valerie are excellent hosts and nothing is ever too much trouble to ensure their guests have the perfect stay. And they are also incredibly respectful for guests... More

We stayed here with our 2 year old son in December 2009. The accomodation was lovely, jacuzzi bath gorgeous. Lovely comfy beds & the washer & dryer was a fantastic bonus. The owners, Tim & Valerie were so hospitable & friendly. Cooked breakfast can be delivered as well as evening meals. Our 2 year old loved the morning routine of... More
