We stayed for a three night break in The Coach House. The welcome we received when we arrived was lovely and we were made to feel at home straight away. We were extremely impressed by the quality of the cottage. It had everything you could want and was furnished very well with a leather sofa, flat screen tv and a... More

This B&B is old fashioned in the best way. It felt like going back in time, with the old buliding decorated in a comfortable country house style. Owner Richard was very welcoming and the young staff serving breakfast were very sweet and helful. High standards of cleanliness. Public rooms especially well decorated and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable; bathroom en... More

What a little gem to find in Cromer! Once you've pulled into the driveway its like driving into another world. The first view of the hotel is beautiful with its grounds reaching to woodland which in turn leads you to the coastal path. All the staff were incredible friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room - no. 7... More

We have just returned from a break at this guesthouse and had a lovely time. The rooms are clean and the family room was spacious. The reception was warm and welcoming and there was plenty of space to relax. The only thing which let it down was the coffee (a bit weak but soon rectified when we asked for it... More

Stayed here during the week and it was a good base to visit places such as Sheringham, Holt and Wells-next-the-Sea as well as several National Trust properties. The B&B is lovely and comfortable, a nice welcome from our host and the offer of tea/coffee was a nice touch. We had room 3, a spacious double with en-suite; clean, simple decor... More

We only had one night here, but is was made a pleasant stay. I would recommend paying extra for the evening meal, as the food was very tasty and worth the money (3 course meal and cheese board). will save you having to find somewhere to eat in Cromer. Good location near cliff tops for a walk with nice views.... More

Had a really good stay here, despite Sunderland losing 2-1 at Norwich on the Monday night. What did I like about The Grove? 1. When I arrived on the Sunday afternoon, I was expected and instructed to sit in the Residents Lounge while a pot of tea (proper tea as well!!!) was brought to me. 2. The room was huge... More

Provides a very English experience away from London. We stayed as a family group and The Grove was very suitable for this. They were able to seat us together for the meals and it was great to be able to use the guest lounges which were supplied with games. The swimming pool and table tennis facilities just away from the... More

Just back from 'the grove'. from a big family holiday 19 people including grandparents, parents and children. We filled the whole guest house which was lovely as it made it private for just our party. Ample parking. Rooms so pretty and clean with no restrictions on access to all the rooms at all times during the day.. Staff friendly and... More

My husband and I stayed in the guest house 2 years ago and were so impressed by the quality of the surroungings and the service that this year we came back with my parents and hired 2 cottages on the site. These also were of excellent standard and we were still able to use the facilities at the Guest House,... More
