We had a lovely stay at The Grove in Cromer. It's a good location to explore Cromer and the beach by foot and also to drive to the local sites - Holkham beach, Blakeney, the old steam railway etc. Perfect for a family short break. Staff - especially in the restaurant - were very friendly and helpful. The food was... More

I stayed at the Grove for two nights, when I arrived it has a welcoming and warm feel about the place. Wonderful and unique use of bringing the old to modern, integrating historical and family generational elements into the current hotel. Had the most fantastic fish and chips in the restaurant. Staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Lovely location. When... More

Lovely maintained surroundings and adjacent to the cliff path. Beautifully clean inside the house and room. An easy drive to Cromer centre or a pleasant walk using the cliff path. The Grove is a guest house that fills a gap between a boutique hotel and a high end B&B. The room we stayed in appeared a little old fashioned (to... More

Delightful b&b with the option of having half board. My hubby and I have just returned from 4 nights on a half board basis. I would highly recommend this, but maybe not have an evening meal every evening. Don't get me wrong the food is delicious and you get a three course meal but we both struggled to eat all... More

Stayed here for a weekend in January, Norfolk gave us great weather and the Grove a lovely warm welcome. After a horrible journey with a broken down car, the beautiful room with heated floors and lovely decor was a huge relief! The staff looked after us really well, the breakfasts and dinner in the restaurant were amazing and the walks... More

Well, this is my second stay at The Grove and I am pleased to say improvements had been made, the room (from memory room 5 I think) had a fresh feel with recent re-decoration. quality carpets, clean bathroom and comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water although this room was shower only. The staff were as always very friendly, welcoming and... More

My partner & I stayed in the cottage within the grounds of the hotel for a nice weekend break. The place was clean & comfortable and had everything we needed. The grounds of the hotel are very pleasant and the surroundings in general were delightful. The staff on arrival were very attentive & helpful, however upon departure the girl on... More

We are just back from a truly wonderful weekend, staying at the Grove in Cromer. This is a family run hotel with the sort of superb customer service you don't see very often anymore. All of Richard's staff are attentive and Josh and Stuart were on hand to deal with our every whim. We certainly felt very special, from showing... More

We stayed in one of the modern Orchard Rooms especially for families which are not in the main hotel. The space downstairs consisted of a large bed, sofa, television and cupboard/wardrobe, and large modern bathroom, there are stairs up to a gallereid area which has two futon beds. The main bed was lovely and comfy but the children did find... More

POSITIVES: This hotel is in a good location to reach Cromer town (five minutes walk) and the beach (even closer, accessible via the hotel garden). Also, it's a family business and I do appreciate what they are trying to do here - diversifying with cottages and glamping in the grounds and building the restaurant. However, negatives outweighed positives for us,... More

Hello Anna Thanks for finding the time to leave us a review. Of course it's a shame you didn't enjoy your stay here and I'm sure there are plenty of valid points in your list which we will look at carefully, as we do with all feedback. I hope you don't mind if I pick you up on a couple... More
