My wife and I booked with Alfa coaches for a five day break to Cromer. We had previously visited the town for lunch during a caravan holiday at Heacham beach 18 years ago. Our holiday started on the Saturday which was Barbara's birthday, and from Peterborough to Kings Lynn it rained all the way. The weather had picked up by... More

Wonderful old hotel built in 1820 as a house, with an absolutely brilliant team of staff, willing to help with a smile. Big problem is the lift... it keeps giving up. Despite efforts by the hotel, it is taking the engineers days to get a part in from Germany & to fit it. Reading other reviews this is an ongoing... More

I agree with nunx, this Hotel stands proud overlooking Cromer Pier. A wonderful relaxing Hotel. All the staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them. We had two waitresses during our stay and were impressed with both of them. Not great entertainment compared with other Alfa Hotels and a lot of the guests went to bed early... More

My daughter and I have been staying here for almost a week, in three different rooms (not because we were dissatisfied; we'd booked too late to stay continuously in any particular one). Thus, we have a good idea of the hotel's accommodation. All three of the rooms were large, clean and comfortable. (A fourth, which we looked at but declined,... More

A lovely old building commanding views over the pier. We stay in B&B in Cromer every year at Whitsuntide, but always make a point of visiting this wonderful old hotel for an evening. The atmosphere is olde worlde and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bar meals are excellent and it is lovely to sit in the bar having... More

She stands in a prominent position in Cromer, overlooking the Pier. The feeling of a bygone age exists in the walls of this old Queen. If you want to feel the charm of a bygone age, in a great location, then stay here. Don't expect it to be immaculate throughout, as this building needs some care & attention, but look... More

We have not stayed here, but have dropped in many times over the years to use the bar or restaurant. [Oddly enough, it was here that we saw the terrible events of 9/11 happening live on television.] On this visit to Cromer we only had time for a drink, but couldn't help noticing the delicious pub grub being eaten by... We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at this hotel. Our room was large and comfortable with two easy chairs at the bay window overlooking the pier and sea.. The food was very good and our waitress Liz was an absolute delight. Greg and Signia who ran the bar were superb as was Margaret and her team on the reception... More

On a recent week's holiday in Norfolk my wife and I stayed at the Hotel de Paris, Cromer. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel and room were very nice, clean and tidy. The room was cleaned astonishingly quickly - - I found this out on returning to it just after breakfast! Although we had a view of the... More

This is a trusted hotel serving holiday makers for many years. The staff are very very friendly, many of the rooms have fantastic sea views. The food is excellent and there is a vegetarian choice for all meals. Entertainment is provided most nights and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet traditional seaside break!
