I returned on Friday last after a short break with Alfa Coaches staying at this hotel. I had a 3rd floor room with a view overlooking the pier & sea, it was charming. Food was good with adequate portions. Staff were pleasant without exception. Bar prices were fair with house doubles at £2.80 & lager on a similar level. Sadly... More

A few visits to Cromer had left me somewhat fascinated by the Hotel de Paris, the grand old dame of the sea front. Forewarned by friends that it is a favourite of coach parties and the elderly ("A bit sprouty" was one comment back at Christmas presumably during the festive tinsel and turkey offerings), I opted to book when my... This hotel first blew me away as it was beautiful, and was so warm. The manager greeted my party with a smile, the front office staff were pleasant and cheerful. It got better in the rooms, which were quite roomy, well-furnished and had a standing shower. A individually-controlled heater is also a plus point. Food was not fantastic, but the... More

Yes it needs a fortune spending to bring it up to date, but the location alone makes this the place to stay in the Cronmer area. Make sure that you pay a little extra for a sea view room which you will find to be well worthwhile. Did not eat dinner, but the breakfast was fine and the room was... More

Stayed here on business. Good location over looking the sea. The hotel has seen better days but the staff were v friendly. It is I feel though a hotel for the slightly older person. Good for coach trips etc.

It would be hard to beat the location of the Hotel de Paris - close to the pier and beach, with the town just a short walk away. We enjoyed our 3 night stay, our room was large with good sea views, comfortable chairs for relaxing in, a flat screen TV with freeview, and a kettle and ample supplies of... More

My advice to anyone who is thinking of going there....Don't waste your money....... I do not know where to start... We booked a two night stay including an evening meal with a superior room. The Staff could not string a sentence together and were so rude. The meals were rushed and looked and tasted like hospital food. They were Disgusting........ More
