We were made to feel very welcome and took an available sea-view room. The room was clean and adequate for a one night stay with everything we needed. The bathroom was very small but again adequate. There is no lift which was not a problem for us but could be for others. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. An evening meal... More

Thank you for your comments, we do in fact have our windows cleaned every week but being close to the sea we do suffer from salt and sand on the windows especially in windy weather. More

We stayed here for 2 nights on a B&B basis, in a very comfortable room with en-suite shower. The hotel generally was spotless, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is one one of the best I've eaten the food was piping hot. If there is one drawback, there a lot of stairs to contend with... More

Just returned from a lovely weekend in Cromer at the Sandcliff Hotel. The Manager and Staff could not have made us more welcome. I went with friends and their children and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent you could have whatever you wanted. I would definitely visit again.

Simple room, simple staff, simple decor, clean bed which is mostly all I care about. Saw a slight part of the sea from room which was lucky as had a side room, good TV and kettle. Simple and did the job, on the seafront, can't complain but wouldn't visit again

Once you get passed the idea the Sandcliff is a B&B and not a hotel, you are in for a lovely surprise. First of all, the hotel was brilliantly clean. Fresh smelling bed linen, two pillows each. The bathroom had none of that musty smell you can get with old period hotels. Nice soft towels and well stocked coffee and... More

I would describe the hotel as a traditional English b&b, with the style and layout you would expect from a seaside town. The staff (receptionist and breakfast room) were very friendly and chatty. The room was booked last minute but we were lucky to receive a large room with 3 beds and an ensuite with shower. Parking is either on... More

Stayed one night at the Sandcliff Hotel, excellent value for the money, clean, tidy, & friendly what is all you want. Breakfast was very good especially the fresh fruit salad, the best I have had. Would recommend it. Paul & Pat Stowmarket

Had a lovely few days at the Sandcliff Hotel, Friendly, smiling staff welcomed us on our arrival. There was a wonderful full English breakfast that kept us going until tea time..with a superb fresh fruit salad yoghurt, and cereals also available. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Cromer which has at least one excellent fish and... More

A lovely welcome awaits. The hotel is a 3 star and is excellent value for money. The breakfast was great - the fresh fruit salad was spot on, and one of the best I've had anywhere. It's an ideal location, we had never been to Cromer before, but will be coming back. The down points? Well, not much. The pull... More
