Just returned from a six night stay. We have a Motorhome and had reserved a grass pitch with electric. On arrival the warden asked where we'd prefer to pitch and when the first offering wasn't quite right for us, he was more than happy to offer us an alternative. In hindsight we should have chosen a pitch in a more... More

I have been to this site a number of times and have seen the access road slowly getting worse. This time I could not believe the condition. This road would not be out of place on a Land Rover off road training day. Unless you have a 4X4 you’re in for a very very bumpy ride. Also no WIFI on... More

The access road is perfectly usable if you're horse is nimble enough. Of course if you are arriving in one of these new-fangled automobiles, then it is a different matter; I recommend and SUV. Or a tank. Sadly, on our visit, we used a Mini - not ideal! Once within the site however, our experience went dramatically downhill. The staff... More

When I rang to book the site I told the receptionist that we were a party of four adults and two dogs. One tiny vintage eriba caravan, two mini's, and a small ridge tent. The booking clerk said that it didn't matter as long as we fit into the pitch. We arrived; fitting on to the pitch wasn't a problem.... More

A very lovely experience staying on this site - the access road on to camp is quite daunting when you first approach but don't let that put you off. The facilities are very clean and checked regularly. The site has no camp wifi and mobile signal is sparse although there is public phone available so plan ahead . The site... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2015 via mobile

We stayed during May half term and the site was full over the first weekend. I prefer smaller sites but this felt like a nice small site but with all the conveniences that come with larger sites. Great toilet, shower and dish washing facilities. Always plenty of hot water and always clean. Great location - easy walks to East Runton... More

Just got back from 5 nights in our caravan at this beautiful site. The site is quite large and was very busy when we arrived, not surprising given it was bank holiday weekend. It did thin out a bit over the week, but even when busy it doesn't feel too full. It was a good mix of tents, camper vans... More

We found this site to be picturesque and well positioned, near by to some lovely beaches and nice towns. The access road is dreadful, and I mean dreadful. Whilst my husband towed the caravan in and out I shut my eyes and hoped for the best. I found this site to be FULL of yapping, barking dogs from 7am to... More

I hadn't read the review on here before we went but I kind of wish I had now. We stayed as a party of 15 (6 adults, 6 kids and 3 dogs) in a mix of caravans and a tent. Firstly the positives, the location, the facilities and the walks from the site. The toilets and showers were really clean,... More

Have never stayed at West Runton before so we read reviews on trip advisor. As the majority were not good we were a bit hesitant about going, we did anyway and boy we were glad we did. All staff were very welcoming and friendly and the site was very clean. Fantastic walks starting from the site and lots to see... More
