We booked our holiday through Thomas Cook and were really sold this hotel as excellent value for money. Well - we tend to disagree. We were sold water by the rep en route to the hotel to be met with a sign that said any food or drink taken in would be confiscated. So like you do we smuggled in... more

We stayed at the Marcan (across the road) last year so knew what to expect in terms of accomodation, breakfast etc and were fine with this (it is turkey not the Maldives right?). Our experience of the Telmessos was as follows: The Good ======== 1) Accomodation - small but kept very clean (as many other reviewers have noted). The pool... more

Well firstly there is probably a little bit of truth in every previous review. The hotel is in a great location both in terms of the great mountain views from the excellent pool area and for access to what Hisoranu has to offer. Rooms were basic, small and clean(ish) and breakfast was basic but OK. Staff were very pleasant. We... more

On arrival at the hotel my fiancee and I were greeted by a friendly receptionist who explained a few details relating to the hotel i.e. additional costs for the safe and air-con etc. A member of staff then carried our suitcases to our room. The room itself was small and basic but on the whole seemed fine. The balcony was... more

Hotel was generally ok - i mean it's a 3 star so it's not luxurious but we didnt expect anything else. A couple of points. -Food and drink bought on the card system is very expensive - £3.25 for a 1 litre bottle of coke when you can get the same item for 70p at the Gunmarket at the bottom... more

You get what you pay for. At £136 for 2 for 8 days b/b you can't be expecting al a carte breakfast, satalite tv and mini bar, so get real. Rooms are very small, painted/decorated in loud colours but clean, power shower in proper cubicle so don't know how some people had bathroom floors wet through, maybe they don't know... more

Stay away from this hotel, everything is money money money,Bar staff are lovely until you stop spending money, then they wont speak to you. The manager is only interested in what he can make, food ok but over priced. rooms are very small with only beds and wardrobe, everything is an added extra. We did find a lovely resturant called Codswallop tho, food excellent, staff lovely... more

We arrived very tired after a delayed flight at 7.30am to be informed (very unhelpfully) that our confirmed booking of a room for 2 adults & 2 children was incorrect and we would have to pay extra for a correctly sized room!!!!! I kept pointing out that the booking confirmation stated OCCUPANCY 2 & 2 but it fell on deaf... more

I have just returned from this hotel and was really dissapointed. The reception staff were very friendly until you asked for something ie a towel and then they just wern't interested. We had to ask 4 times to get towels for the rooms. They ask you to pay for the aircondtioning in £ 25 for the week. I didn't have... more

They say you make your mind up about a hotel within a few moments of arrival and we were greeted with the sign saying "food and drink is forbiden unless purchased in the hotel". PS "Have a nice holiday!" On checking in we were told that we would need to pay for two weeks worth of air con for both... more
