The cheapest accommodation we had during our GenSan-SC-Sar trip is in Lake Sebu. At Punta Isla, you can choose to stay in their dorm type rooms for only 150 pesos per night per head. You won't really need an AC room because it gets really, really cold. The place offers a great view of the lake. Plus their resto serves... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Punta Isla Resort. Their lobby have the wow factor already what missing is the customer service from other staff. We are lucky that Raymond, their sales and marketing staff really made sure that our stay in Lake Sebu and Punta Isla is seamless. Their meals are really affordable and is actually big for 4... I tried to email the resort to reserve our rooms in advance but didnt get any reply. We were a party of 12 and arrived late at the resort. We asked for the dorm type accommodation but was told that it was not available...they could tell us why it was not available when we were the only guests there at... More

Last month i visited lake sebu for breakfast. My friend and i decided to dine at Punta Isla. The resort had very good views of the placid lake sebu, good food, ok rooms... plus a cultural dance presentation given by smart & beautiful T'boli children.the resort now offers cruise buffet. It's the classic place to be if you happen to... More

This review is for the short cruise with lunch where a host explains the stunning nature view. We went there at 11am and the lunch as first agenda was very welcome. All the tilapia dishes taste great, even the native chicken. Aside from the tourist guide who gives ample information about the sights right before our eyes, there was also... More

Guess what I was hearing all day? Aside from the loud guest laughter, there were variety chirps of birds - all exquisite rhythms of nature. Landscaped with seemingly foreign flora, Punta Isla offers an interesting charm. The resort is located on the cliff south of Lake Sebu so most of its rooms feature a panoramic view of the lake. I... It took us the hours to get here on narrow winding road. The first time we caught and ate or fish on the lake, very relaxing place on our next trip we sat on the hill looking down on the lake. This is an all day trip but well worth it, enjoy:)

We went here to try their 50 ways of cooking tilapia and view Lake Sebu via a boat ride. We had a good view of the lake from the cabana where we took our lunch. They also offer a boat ride tour, but we decided to forego as we still have to see the 7 falls which is a bit... More

I'm not being fussy but a particular traveller when it comes to atmosphere and staff. It all started with checking in. Confusion or miscommunication among staff led to annoying and improper conversations at the their desk in front of us as guest, which is not a good thing at all. We had the room but was way too noisy. I... More
