I love Denia and have stayed many, many times. The Hotel Chamarel was always somewhere that intrigued me so on a visit earlier this month my friend and I booked in. The parking is not easy, BUT, that is part of the hotel's charm. Located in the Historic Centre of the town it is ideally located for everything. Next to... More

I have stayed at hotel Chamarel in Denia and has been an amazing experience. I was with my wife and two teenagers. We had a wonderful time with the fallas festivities. Denia is a perfect place to spend few relaxing days, all walking distance, great food, seaside and pleasant atmosphere. Concerning hotel, we had room 208 which was perfect for... More

A really enjoyable stay and a charming and individual boutique hotel. Service was excellent, the communal areas very comfortable and rooms spacious, clean and restful. The car park is 50m or so from the hotel the "wrong way" down the one way street so another lap is required to get in there. And stopping to unload the car not so... More

Stayed at the Chamarel the end of August. Was difficult to find as we arrived late at night during a heavy shower but once located were able to park close by in a side street. Everything in town including the beach was an easy walk from here Yes the rooms are very individual but looking jaded and a workman was... More

Fantastic, unique, cozy & beautiful art @a great location! A wonderful family-owned hotel. Highly unique, feng shue decorated rooms, every room being different and special with its own art. Perfect location in the centre of Denia town, near the castle, beach and shops. Perfect!

I booked a yoga holiday here with my daughter and was surprised at how lovely Denia was - not that many Brits, lovely old bars and cobbled streets, gorgeous castle on top of very big hill with breathtaking views across the bay and mountains behind. Lovely beaches and seas, friendly, quiet place, feels safe but with lots of great bars, restaurants... More

We stayed in room 206, which was a superior room with a King size overlooking a beautiful ivy-covered courtyard. Although, the two windows (with shutters) were very small and on the roof level. The strongest feature of the hotel is the ambience – very artsy with owner's art everywhere. At the arrival don't let the stuffy lobby fool you, all... More

I have had the good fortune of staying at the beautiful Hotel Chamarel twice - 2012 and 2010. Both times were wonderful stays. The Hotel is charming and well situated - close to all Denia has to offer and walking distance to beautiful beaches, shopping and restaurants. The Staff and Owners and kind and helpful - the rooms have all... More

Having spent a great deal of time in Denia, but staying in villas, it was a pleasant change to stay in a hotel. We had always fancied the Hotel Chamarel so was delighted to be able to book their junior suite and it was everything we could have hoped for. Furnishing were very good and a very large bathroom, just... More

Well located this hotel is on one of the small streets of Denia's old town. Easy walking distance to the castle, restaurants, shops and cafes. It is like stepping back in time as you enter the hotel. Peaceful, calm and atmospheric. Our room overlooked the tiled roof of the courtyard to the back of the hotel. It was spacious, quiet,... More
