Just returned from two weeks with Saga at the Port Denia Hotel, Denia, Spain. Hotel is in an ideal position just a short walk to the beach, marina and town centre. There is a road which runs near the swimming pool but traffic noise is minimal. Rooms are clean as are the public areas. Food is plentiful and varied with... More

3 week stay. First 2 very good, food excellent and varied buffet style so eat what you desire. Good clean room with balcony and sea plus mountain view. Adequate entertainment by hotel and the Saga lounge. The third week was a culture shock, over run with Spanish families! Totally alien to the Saga ethos expected! Children all over the dance... Just returned from a weeks break at the port denia hotel and was impressed with the friendliness of all the staff.Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were large ( no balcony) and kept clean by the cleaning ladies. Food was always hot and plentiful with good variety. there is nothing negative to say about this hotel and would definitely... More

Just returned from a 2 week stay and enjoyed it greatly, the Hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the staff are so warm and friendly-especially the bar staff who are great fun, extremely efficient and friendly, it seems unfair to single anyone out but Angelique won our hearts. The food was really good with a varied choice at all times with... I have been to the Port Denia a number of times in the past and have always been happy with my stay. This time, however, I have noticed that the food served in the dining room is poor. It is badly cooked and served. Meat is tough and most of the fish dishes are dry. Vegetables are tasteless and sometimes... More

stayed at hotels from usa to Australia, and this was the friendliest hotel staff I have ever came across, from bar staff to dining room staff and reception they could not do enough for you. the only downside to the hotel is the charge for Wi-Fi 15 euros per week. the hotel is so good that I have already booked... I had a balcony room, overlooking the very blue pool, so all was rather blissful. Good facilities and excellent food. It's not too far to walk into Denia ( a very friendly kind of town) and you can catch a tram to Alicante, if you want to go further. Very popular with the Spanish and the outside Terrace is a... As stated before, we stayed at the Pot Denia Hotel which was fine, as long as you avoid the Spanish pensioners vacation window. Even though we were the guests, the noise made by them when coming to bed at the hotel, was disconcerting. But this happens at all hotels in Spain, not just this one. BUT! Denia itself is a... More
