We go to Javea every year, have previously stayed at the Parador (don't bother, great location but such poor service and attitude) and El Rodat (again, odd kind of place really geared up for villas there and not hotel guests) Tried this one, knew it was away from Arenal Beach, which is where we wanted to be, but a bit... more

Stayed here with my wife as our daugher was getting married not far away at the Villa Sundance The hotel looks stunning from the outside and is in a lovely area, the golf course and pool etc help to create a nice peaceful environment. We received a warm welcome from knowledgeable staff who spoke good english and offered us a... more

Very good and comfortable hotel with some lovely pools and golf courses within the grounds... Located close to the towns of La Xara and Jesus Pobre; 10 minutes away from Denia. A car is a *must* if you are staying at this hotel. Breakfast was a comprehensive spread with lots of variety and was laid out from 7am till 11am... more

We stayed at this hotel over the Christmas period and had a wonderful time. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The service is great. The location is alright too, close to Javea and Denia. The spa and jacuzzi are fantastic - a great way to spend time there - and the treatments are not too expensive. The Christmas dinner food... more

4th Xmas at this, for us, great hotel. Excellent food-Xmas Eve meal exceptional and also the 19 euro menu of the day in restaurant was excellent value for less 'excessive' days. Very comfortable room. Enjoyed the golf. Appreciated the attention of the staff-very friendly but never oppressive. Credit Crunch allowing we will be back this year! more

We usually stay in an apartment but this year felt that I wanted to relax a bit more and not have to bother with getting breakfast, making beds etc. I stayed with my husband and two children and we all had a brilliant time. Breakfast was fab, loads of choice and my eldest son certainly got his moneys worth with... more

My fiance and I stayed in this fabulous Marriott for 6 nights after staying in Madrid, La Rioja wine region and Barcelona for the first part of our two week trip. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes away from Denia by car and is situated in the foothills above the beach. You have to have a car if you... more

We stayed at La Sella 5th - 7th Septmber this year for our wedding, as the hotel was quite pricey we booked a private villa on La Sella urbanisation just over the back of the hotel for the week before then moved to the hotel on the morning of the wedding. There was a party of 31 of us and... more

This is a lovely hotel and resort. It claims 5 star but compared to 5* hotels in European cities and the Middle East and Asia - its not quite there. We visited with our 2 small children during school holidays and the breakfast and pool area is very busy. This was fine for us but not so great if you... more
