My wife and I recently had a fantastic 2-night stay at this charming hacienda. Everything went perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with mexican/western decor. The grounds were also beautiful - very peaceful and well manicured in a rustic hacienda style. There's an onsite chapel on the grounds which is a great room to relax, meditate, pray...whatever.... When I booked the hotel I wasn't sure what we were getting but we were definitely not disappointed. The relaxing atmosphere when you walk through the gate is amazing and our hosts Kat & Reggie went out of their way to make our 25th anniversary special. They arranged a " his & hers " massage in the beautiful and relaxing... More

As my wife and I approached the Hacienda de la Mariposawe were somewhat apprehensive. However, after we enter the gate , it was like entering paradise. This was an incredible oasis in the middle of the desert. The accomadations were great and very romantic. Fantastic grounds surrounding the bed and breakfast. The host and hostest were there to fulfill our... More

Don't believe everything you read! The Hacienda de la Mariposa Bed and Breakfast in Camp Verde, Arizona is one of the nicest and coziest B & B's you'll ever stay at. My family and I found this resort last year and have visited on many occasions in summer and winter. The service was wonderful. The grounds are beautiful shady and... More

Aug 30, 2008 Kat and Reggie has made our stay at the Mariposa one of our all time most fun get-aways. the Hacienda has it all. The buildings at the Hacienda are beautifully decorated in the southwest tradition with "eye candy" everywhere you look. My husband and I stayed in the Gossamer Wing, where we had a wonderfully comfortable king-size... More

Beware, this B&B is not anything like it's portrayed on their website. This is the oddest experience we've ever had with accomadations. The owners Kat and Reggie are not informative regarding the area. They do however talk at nauseaum regarding Reggies music. The amenities expected are not offered. There aren't any refreshing drinks .There is no staff of massage therapist,... More

Just returned from a week in Arizona our first stop was three nights at the Hacienda Mariposa. We found this B&B on trip adviser, and thought it sounded like a great place away from all the tourist in Sedona . We were right it is in a very secluded spot, peaceful and quite. Kat and Reggie are very out going... More

Well, we were very excited to stay at this resort! But ended up SCREWED AND DISAPPOINTED. We booked the "Monarch" room directly with the owners in early January, 4 months out. I then emailed Kat (the owner) 3 weeks prior to our stay asking for confirmation of our reservation and confirmation of the 50% deposit. After 1 week no response... More

This B&B is nicely decorated and the food was absolutely wonderful during our stay. However, I researched the Hacienda de la Mariposa on their website and through tripadvisor.com and selected the Painted Lady for a romantic trip for my husband and I. Their website then, and to this day, lists this room as having a romantic, King size bed with... More

We were greeted by Kat and Reggie and given a personal tour of this picturesque and wonderfully appointed resort. The rooms are individualized southwestern themed private little places to put down your worries and RELAX. The morning breakfast is served outdoors on the veranda overlooking a lovely riverscape with hummingbirds and butterflies and a variety of native birds, all soaring... More
