We have just returned following staying at the Hotel Simo for one night. We caught the train from Valencia (which was very easy) and then it was a taxi ride into peniscola. We were greated with the most fantastic views. The hotel is basic, however the views make up for this. We had a room with a balcony and sea... More

The hotel is in a brilliant location, at the base of the old village and castle walls, with a wonderful view of the north beach. We had a double room with a terrace, and although the furnishings are basic there was plenty of space and the décor had a sort of art deco charm! Everything was clean and the breakfast... More

Perfect view of the beach and water and nice restaurant downstairs. We had a triple room so didnt have the same view as the double rooms that look out onto the beach. Rooms were very basic but the location was excellent with the castle and markets all witihin walking distance. Bathroom facilities were very clean. Downside is beds seemed to... More

We stayed here for two nights with the intention on staying longer if the accommodation was ok. To be honest, very basic all round. The only really good thing you could say is that the view is pretty cool. Open your bedroom balcony doors and you have a view of the entire beach and seascape. This though, is the only... More

We stayed here some days ago and we decided to pick it up because of the great view of the sea they offer, practically you can jump from the balcony directly into the water so this was a tie-breaker when deciding, the price was also not bad (only 5 euros per night more than another hotel not so well located).... We ate a meal at the Resturant Simo in Peniscolar and had a really nice evening. The view over the sea is stunning and the fish they served was excellent and also the Pealla was also very good.We ate the set meal for 18 euros each which we felt was good value. I would certainly recommend this as a good place... More

Nice little hotel that accepted my dog. Clean rooms. The hotel is right in the entrance to the old town. Breakfast continental style but very satisfactory. A great base for Peniscola, I will return.
