Stopped over for one night whilst walking the Camino. It is on the route so no detours which is always good. A lovely building, beautifully restored to a very high standard but with a lot of unique touches, our red mosaic tiled bathroom was stunning! Food was excellent with great attention to detail and I also loved all the art... More

After a day walking the Camino it was a wonderful welcome to find this renovated gem. There were 7 of us and 2 men from England. The owners were rightfully proud of this lovely Inn. The food was superb. The bedrooms light and airy with beautiful views over the green rolling hills. A wonderful experience!

this is very old building recently renovated to provide upmarket accommodation on the Camino. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely well presented, but the highpoint of our stay was the cuisine. This was really excellent, served by the owner who was not particularly communicative, but highly efficient. Without doubt, the best place we came across on this trip.

After the indifferent welcome - yes, I got that too - it was all positive at this perfect rest stop on the Camino Francés, a manageable walk from Portomarin. This was originally a pilgrims' hospital, then later the parish rectory. It has recently been restored, with clean modern touches that help to bring out the original features, not least the... More

Four of us are staying here while walking the Camino. This is the most gorgeous building, keeping the best of the old stone house and blending a stylish modern refurbishment. The bedrooms are airy with lovely bathrooms while the dining room has glass walls open to the gardens and the terrace. Our host was friendly and obliging and his wife's... More

The owner has photos of the dilapidated, vine covered building. It is amazing they had the vision to rebuild the property to share with us. It is filled with wonderful modern are, beautifully furnished and has beautiful grounds. We had nothing to do but relax in beautiful surroundings!

After a 24 kms hiking on the Camino de Santiago we stayed at this hotel for one night. It's a stunning little place in the countryside with beautiful gardens and incredible bird song all around you. The food was amazing, the room incredibly clean and the bed very comfortable. Our host couldn't have provided anything more. Make sure you take... More

As we were walking on the Camino de Santiago we spent a night at this dream of a place. Beautifully remodeled, comfortable room, no TV and wonderful views of the surrounding gardens. The home room has a wonderful chimney and the food is excellent.

Traveling with Fresco Tours (who arranged this hotel booking) on the Camino de Santiago, St James Trail, the Way etc, we were fortunate enough to spend two nights at this lovely inn. It was truly our home, as our group (12 people) had the entire property to ourselves. An added bonus is that the Rectoral is on the Camino. Sensitively... More

We walked the Camino and stayed in ever so many places, but this Casa was far the best, we felt at home the minute we steped into the house and all the blisters were forgoten. It is locatet direct on the camino in a nice aerea overlooking the country side. The rooms are very nice, clean, modern but still with a... More
