We arrived at the Rectoral de Lestedo, cold, tired and wet through after a tough days walk in the rain, and it was like heaven. Roaring wood fire, hot, strong showers, the most beautiful rooms, so thoughtfully decorated. This is a beautiful old stone building which was a rectory and hospital in a former life, which was abandoned and most... More

This place is stunning, really modem and comfortable. Arrived after a rainy day walking the Camino. Lovely hot shower and spent time before dinner talking to the other pilgrims in front of a log fire. Dinner was the best - 5 courses of local produce washed down with local wine. Could not recommend this place highly enough. BUEN CAMINO!!!'

By far the nicest stop on the last 100km of the Camino. There are 7 of us walking together and we had the place almost to ourselves. Beautiful renovation, lovely lounge room with an open fire and that ancient stone walling coupled with delicious meal (best so far in Spain) and wine made for what felt more like a private... More

We were booked into the Rectoral as part of our Camino walking trip. It is a beautifully restored old building, and a lot of thought has obviously gone into it. However we felt that it was too formal for us as walking pilgrims - it felt more like a high-end corporate meeting place. There were also some details which didn't... More

This is an incredible building. Beautiful gardens. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the hills, huge bathroom. The evening meal was superb , way beyond our expectation . Service was fantastic . A very welcome stop along the Camino.

This beautiful property is a renovated rectory with an incredible design sensibility. It combines the old stone of the original building with a modern touch of glass, wood and sleek furnishings. Each room has a modern bathroom, and public rooms are spacious and beautiful. Dinner and breakfast are delicious. I would absolutely stay here again!

After a long day walking the Camino, it was a real treat to stop here for the night. Beautiful room with a spacious bathroom. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast. We also got up in the middle of the night to look at the stars (worth doing!) All in all - a great place to stop, rest, and recharge... More

This lovely restored rectory is right on the Camino de Santiago so very convenient for walkers. The rooms are modern and our bathroom had a huge shower. The whole house and gardens are lovely but unfortunately we were here only one night so could not take full advantage. Dinner was served in a lovely room with the sun streaming through... More

After a 21 km walk we arrived at nirvana - the Rectoral de Lestedo! Stunning property, peaceful, private with a 5 star standard! The accommodations had well appointed rooms, each one very distinct with it's own personality! There is a lovely little reading nook, with cozy high back chairs, surrounded by glass with a view of the property. The dinner... More

Stopped over for one night whilst walking the Camino. It is on the route so no detours which is always good. A lovely building, beautifully restored to a very high standard but with a lot of unique touches, our red mosaic tiled bathroom was stunning! Food was excellent with great attention to detail and I also loved all the art... More
