My biggest complaint was the difficulty finding this hotel. At the time of my stay, there was road construction all around it (but since I was there on the weekend and only in the room between 7 pm and 7 am, construction noise was not an issue). It is NOT on any of the main streets and the Exxon station... more

Traveling through town we needed a place to stay overnight. We booked a room with 2 queen beds. The door was battered and the deadbolt would not lock. There were no covers on the box springs. The tiles in the floor were coming loose. Cigarette burns all over the furniture. Toilet clogged. Safe broken. TV remote had only one button... more

Firstly, I am a fan of Econo Lodge; this Econo Lodge, Frederick, MD, however, was really bad. Abosulutely no modern amunitities; i.e., no wifi in room; no micro; no fridge; no iron or ironing board; and twice prostitues woke me up late looking for trick. Not only the aforementioned but this Econo Lodge was most expensive Econo Lodge I've stayed... more

My friends and I just needed a place to stay overnight while traveling through town. We did not go into the hotel expecting 4 star quality but we did at least expect cleanliness. We booked a double bed smoking room. The outside of the hotel was very run down looking and could definitely use a refresh. Check in was quick... more

Booked a stay through EconoLodge website at Frederick, MD property. Room assigned was filthy - smelled of cat urine (seemingly coming from crawl space below room). Dirt in corner and fecal matter on shelf in bathroom area. BUT that was not the worst. In showering we saw dark black coming from our feet - so we checked. A white towel... more

I was far from impressed by this place, but it was the cheapest place in the area and did its job for the night I was there. The bed and chair in the room were well used, and the room itself could've used some carpentry work to spruce it up. It didn't do a thorough check because I was afraid... more

First the good news - reasonable price, lots of TV channels available (65 channels), room was clean, room was quiet Now time to hear the rest of the story - This motel is hard to find (their website says behind the Exxon station . . . well the station is now all boarded up and closed . . maybe they... more

We booked this as a place to stopover one night on a trip to see our new granddaughter in VA. The rooms were very nice for the price, service was very friendly. Breakfast was small, English muffins, donuts, juice and coffee.. but was better than none and gave us a start on the road. more

For the price $55 - the room was outstanding - very clean - newly remodeled - good staff - definitely recommend. The view outside the hotel is not the greatest - of parking lots, industrial park - but the room was well kept and a great value - good night's sleep. more
