Firstly, I am a fan of Econo Lodge; this Econo Lodge, Frederick, MD, however, was really bad. Booked a stay through EconoLodge website at Frederick, MD property. Room assigned was filthy - smelled of cat urine (seemingly coming from crawl space below room). We booked this as a place to stopover one night on a trip to see our new granddaughter in VA. The rooms were very nice for the price, service was very friendly. Breakfast was small, English muffins, donuts, juice and coffee.. but was better than none and gave us a start on the road. more

For the price $55 - the room was outstanding - very clean - newly remodeled - good staff - definitely recommend. The view outside the hotel is not the greatest - of parking lots, industrial park - but the room was well kept and a great value - good night's sleep. more
