Beautiful house, nicely decorated with a lovely garden. Proprietors are very nice and friendly. We received some good tips for our trip. Breakfast is just great! Definitely a place to stay, wie loved it very much!

We had a two night stay at this beautiful hotel. It's in a lovely old building, very clean and well decorated. Our hosts made us feel like old friends, they were very warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very quite area on the outskirts of town. The surrounding area has stunning scenery. We happily recommend this lovely... More

Set away from the main resort, this hidden gem embraces you with a feeling of wellbeing as soon as you enter its peaceful environs. A beautifully restored building, wonderful gardens, fine artwork and spacious common areas combines with the Maitre's genuine welcome to provide an extemely pleasant and fulfilling vacation experience. We will be back.

Our room was overlooking the garden and was of more than adequate size. We used the bicycles provided by the hotel to ride to the market at Viviero along the reclaimed estuary. The breakfast was good and the dinner we had there was the best cold soup we have ever had, salmorejo. This is not gazpacho but similar. The staff... More

This hotel is well recommended in numerous guides and website because it is quiet (quite far away from Viveiro though) and its garden is lovely. However 7 rooms out of 18 are right below the attic and if you get the 115 for instance then you have been unlucky! For an average person (6 feet tall), only half of the... More

We stayed here for one night with friends in September having seen a review in the Cadogan Northern Spain guide. We did not pre-book, but nevertheless the young lady receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is hidden away in the heart of the Galician countryside, not far from Viveiro, and is set in the most beautiful well maintained... More

The Pazo da Trave is a restored villa, decorated with a unique artistic touch (as the owner is an artist) and a very homely feel. I stayed for a week with my husband who was working near Viveiro and felt very comfortable and indulged in the beautiful surroundings. The food in the restaurant is very good and the service was...
