We stayed here for two nights at the start of our visit to Extremadura. We had a pleasant room with proper windows. On the first evening we noticed that the air conditioning was broken. We reported it and were immediately offered a free up grade. I thought we would be fine but wished we had taken it.. It was however... More

This historical building in the heart of the old city has been transformed into a contemporary, elegant and comfortable hotel. Our three night stay qualified us for the "long stay discount" and made our superior room with breakfast excellent value. The generously-sized room looked out over the plaza (but not a sound disturbed our sleep). A massive stone staircase takes... More

When booking, I asked for a room on an upper floor thinking I would be assured of a view. Not so. Who would think that a hotel of this calibre would not have windows in its rooms? The standard rooms have only narrow skylights, too high up to open without the remote control. Don't know how you'd ever get out... More

We stayed in a room with no windows. The only sky we could see were two stripes in the ceiling that we could control (ie, open/shut the shades and the windows) with the help of a remote control. So, if you happen to be claustrophobic, don't stay at this hotel. This is the only thing bad I did find with... More

We stayed here in may 2015 on a trip around Extremadura and it was our best stay by far. From the first minute you really felt welcomed and right at home. It is true that it is such a small, but nice touch to be welcomed with a fresh glass of water on a hot day by the time your... More

Very highly recommended. We arrived looking like 2 dischevelled, tired, hungry mountain bikers who had ridden 500 miles to get here. An accurate perception. Very quick check-in. Bowl of fresh cherries on reception. Young, charming staff who were super helpful. Great rooms. As per earlier review sink and bath are huge but that design chic is exactly the escape from... More

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful hotel. A nice mixture between old and modern architecture and design. The room and the bathroom had some interesting elements of design. Really liked it. The stuff was very friendly and very helpful. Always a smile. Try the restaurant. The best food we had so far in Extremadura!!!

We stayed here for two nights during our trip to Spain. The building is absolutely lovely and very impressive, both inside and out. It's a 15/20 minute walk from the train station and slightly longer from the bus station, which we used to arrive and leave. The receptionist was very welcoming when we arrive, offering us a drink of cool... More

We stayed one night in this beautyfull palace in Plasencia. The place is really unique, remodelled with a special Eye on details. Lovely staff and a wonderfull breakfast (12 Euro). Parking is difficult though. We parked outside the wall and walked with our luggage inside. Easy and no Parking fee.

Large palace transformed into a hotel bit keeping the general old atmosphere. Our room (a suite) large, spacious with the perfect furnisihings. Confort bed and great towels of egyptian cotton. Our room had the added value of a huge bathtub and direct views to the cathedral. Well worth the price.
