Unfortunately our stay at this hotel did not rate highly. We booked a suite for the week commencing May 10th at the beginning of March. Upon our arrival, on a very hot afternoon, we were advised that there was a problem with the room and it was not available. After 13 hours travelling we were disappointed but concluded that problems... More

The hotel is inside the walls of the old city of Plasencia about 200 metres from the main plaza. It is the former home of a wealthy and influential family that was recently converted into a hotel. They have tried to keep some of the cold austere feel of the home along with modern touches. It is a strange mix... More

Hotel is right in centre of the city, rooms very big and comfortable, our bath was huge. The hotel is very old and made it feel like you were staying in a castle. We had three balconies in our room over looking the small streets, I would recomend this hotel very nice thank you.

Loved this centuries old hotel that although a little spartan for some...was tastefully decorated. The rooms were very comfortable, great views and I slept as if I were in my own bed. Important to me since I spend so much time travelling abroad sleeping in hard beds fit only for ogres. Exceptional customer service, dinner in the evening was also... More

The hotel is in a traditional old building which has been tastefully converted to a comfortable hotel. The staff are charming and helpful. The bedroom was large but a little spartan . The bathroom was fine but had an impracticably large bath and basin. A Sunday evening but the hotel restaurant was open and serving high quality cuisine. We ordered... More

This old building is a joy to stay in. If you only like plastic modern hotels then its not the place for you but if you like to stay somewhere different then this is a gem. On site parking available also. Staff are very friendly and room has everything you need. Breakfast was something different and a la carte -no... More

Historic renovated hotel dating from 16th Century within the walled part of Plasencia. Good: staff all very pleasant, friendly and helpful when needed. Great location and reasonably easy to find with their own small car park (charge €15 a night – car parks available outside the walled part – not sure about cost). Large room (superior) with comfortable bed and... More

Set on a tiny square and reached along narrow, cobbled streets in the old centre of Plasencia, this is an atmospheric hotel where the staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and convenient though they do lack some basics like a useful make-up mirror and tissues. There is a lounge, a rather large soul-less room with scattered seats,... More

This is a beautiful renovation of an historic property. Unfotunately, comfort and function weren't always considered. The beds were extremely comfortable, but the huge shower in the room was not. Only one chair, without a reading light, was provided. We had our best breakfast of the entire trip here--but why don't they do the same for dinner?

We stayed here for two nights in January 2013. We really enjoyed the stay. The hotel staff are very well trained. We had a suite which had an enormous bath. Very, very stylish but not all that practical. Nonetheless we tried the bath! The service is very good and the staff were very friendly and most eager to please. Bar... More
