This is such a beautiful hotel! The grounds are very well kept and they have excellent amenities. Although I don’t recommend the beaches near the hotel as they are very rocky, the views from the hotel are amazing! My husband I stayed there on our wedding anniversary this past year and this will definitely remain a lovely memory. It’ll be... More

Good spacious room and bathroom with adequate linen. Clean. Good and bad things about this hotel. Some of the staff very charming and helpful others were positively terrible, especially the more senior ones. Good location but very cramped around pool. Internet appalling. Do NOT order a picnic - expensive for rubbish contents.

...but this was a wonderful place for a (short) first visit to Costa Brava. Driving out of Barcelona, with walk-about and lunch in Girona, we arrived here late afternoon. Very comfortable and a beautiful location, overlooking a tiny, picturesque bay to the south and the Med directly to the east. Reservations / front desk extremely helpful both over the phone... More

During July we spend ten days at the Hotel Aigua Blava -- we had intended longer but could simply not stand it any longer. Unfortunately the rooms we were given were shabby, grubby and with poor facilities. One room occupied by our daughters' was even visited by a cockroach. On a positive note, the restaurant was very good and the... More

For the third year in a row we are two couples visiting Costa Brava.in october. And for the third time we stayed one night in Hotel Aigua Blava. And we were not disappointed this time either. We got room upgrade without asking for it. Dinner was excellent as usual, and headwaiter Pepe recognized us, and seemed happy to see us... More

I went on the off chance after crossing the border from France and from the polite reception to paying the bill , everything was perfect. The setting is impossible to fault, the gardens and swimming pool are pearched on a rocky cliff directly overlooking a cove where you can walk down to. The food was very good; both from the... More

Very big property, happended to be there for a wedding. Rooms are in many different buildings. Food was pretty good at lunch. Pro: European feel Rooms are decent for a coast hotel Cons: Expensive Breakfast was nothing special Disclaimer: I did stay here for a wedding and had a great time, so this may have influenced my stay here!

We stayed there for 2 nights at the beginning of August 2013. This stay was a 40th birthday anniversary present from friends to my husband. The idea was to have a short break in Spain and dive. I was looking for a 4stars hotel on the sea cost not far from the French boarder with a good restaurant and sea... More

We stayed there for only one night on our way to Avignon from Barcelona. Wanted to see what the NE Spanish coast looks like. It was a picturesque property on top of a cliff overlooking a small fishing village. The property was more of a family resort for all ages. Had a small (top optional) beach at the bottom of... More
