Arrived on a Sunday to be met by a very friendly lady but due to our ignorance as we don't speak Spanish didn't understand English. After a lot of pointing ect we were shown our room, but nothing else was discussed or pointed at, I.e breakfast room, spa, or anything but it's our fault for not being more multilingual.the room was... My husband and I spent three nights at this hotel and it was such a delight. We had no idea what to expect going to Begur, and we were very pleasantly surprised. Overall the hotel has a cosy feel, our room was luxurious, with very comfortable bed and big bathroom with a bath. We used the spa, sauna and steam... More

My girlfriend and I spent a weekend in this hotel, and we really enjoy the quietness of the place. The hotel is is very well decorated and the rooms are large enough for a couple. To my opinion, the best thing was the silence inside the hotel, despite it's located downtown. Probably during the summer the situation will be different.

Couldn't have been more perfect. The hotel is warm and cosy at this time of year. The rooms were luxurious and immaculate and the owners were the perfect hosts, arranging taxis and recommending restaurant and bars. My boyfriend and I had the most fabulous romantic weekend here.

This ancient house was conberted into a hotel about six years ago and has been exceptionally well done. The rooms are modern and minimal but the reception rooms are traditional and very tastefully furnished.Full advantage is made of all the old architectural features and the roof terrace has great views of the castle and a neighbouring ancient church and houses.... Beautiful small luxury hotel, in a superb building near the centre of Begur, which is a very pretty little town. Virginia and the staff looked after us excellently, we could not have asked for more! Dinners were booked, itineraries suggested - everything we could want! The room we had was spacious, superbly fitted, with a balcony to watch the world... More

Really enjoyed this delightful little hotel of 12 rooms nestled in the heart of Begur town centre. The rooms are beautifully appointed with elegant touches evident in things like lamps, interior decor, mosquito curtains, nice bedding, nicely appointed bathrooms. The hotel used to be a private residence which was then converted into a boutique hotel and clearly they spent a... More

We loved this quaint boutique hotel, located in the center of Begur. Virginia, the manager by day, is friendly, super helpful and really wants every guest to have the best stay possible. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated the nicely appointed sitting areas in the lobby and also, the rooftop lounges. Sa Calma is the former family... More

The hotel was, and is, a privately owned property that was restored and turned into a hotel five years ago. Not a chain and proud to be independent. What sets it apart is the fantastic first floor relaxation area: three or four zoned areas - including games area, two lots of sofas and chairs, library area - with all sorts... More
