Very small (6-room) inn nestled against the moat of an 11th century medieval town about 2-hour drive from Barcelona. We visited the fantastic medieval village of Peratellada in April 2007. This is a very special place, a hidden gem in a region steeped in history. This hotel has 5 very special rooms each decorated in an antique style.The setting is in a small medieval village Peratallada not far from Gerona. The service was excellent and our stay there was very special.It is a hidden gem in a very laid back setting, very difficult to find these days.It is a great spanish experience. more
