We stayed 6 nights in this hotel and enjoyed every minute of our time. The hotel is charming and unusual as it far from the standard bland chain style hotels. Tonia who runs the hotel is a most vivacious, warm and friendly person who does everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet street... More

We went to Peratallada for a wedding last weekend of June. We knew about the hostal Blau since we saw it already last year while we were walking around Peratallada. A nice little hotel in a medieval house. The decoration is great, Toña, the owner, has of course a great taste. The ambience is amazing, with some great relaxing music... More

we arrived in the magical little village of medieval Peratallada Girona Province and were instantly in love with the honey stone, the little cobbled streets, no traffic and flowers tumbling from every balcony or pot. Hostal Blau is tucked quietly up one such street basking in sunshine, with herbs and wild strawberries in pots mixed with geraniums and jasmine .Enter... More

Ask for room number 4, if available. It has a small roof terrace and an amazing view. Don't miss having dinner at la Candeleria and if you like horseriding go for a trip with Marti at equestrian centre Perratallada.

Spent two nights with our two girls (7 and 6). Mostly recommended place, full of charm and decorated to the finest detail. Toña, the new owner, treated us with kindness and full of care. She just made us feel at home. Great experience! – Very safe bet for anyone looking for a relaxed weekend in Peratallada, a fascinating small fortified... More

Peratallada has a lot going for it for those looking to experience a taste of sun-drenched, medieval Spain. Cobblestone streets, restored 17th century buildings (including the Hostal) and several restaurants. Despite the small size of the pueblo, it is very busy during the day and evening. Hostal Blau is well situated in the village in a beautiful old building on... More

We only spent one night at Hostal Blau and I must admit I was not impressed with the service. We booked online with a check in time of 1400 but when we arrived we found a sign saying we could not check in until 1600. When we finally got in we asked what the problem was and the receptionist just... More

In general, Peratallada is a great place to stay if you want to get off the beaten path and have a different type of experience in the general Costa Brava area. Like the other hotels in the castle area, it is uniquely situated in the Peratallada compound and within 15 minutes of the main sights around Costa Brava. There are... More
