The Concord Colonial Inn was the site of our friend's wedding and the location of our vacation in the Boston area. The room was quaintly decorated and offered a lovely view of Concord's pretty streets. The Inn had a huge room perfect for weddings and other events, which allowed room for dancing, toasting, picture-taking and fine dining. The facilities were... More

We were not impressed with the Colonial Inn. We looked at three different rooms and chose a suite in Rebecca's House across the street. It was not clean, and the cleaning crew didn't even offer to freshen it up on Sunday. The bed was fine - not uncomfortable. The TV in the bedroom didn't work at all, and the one... More

Used to be a great place for Sunday brunch. The last couple of times we went were awful. Gone was the outstanding food replace by just OK fare and, most important, gone was the formally excellent service. The service was so bad the last time, we left early, vowing never to return.

This was one of the places suggested for lunch on our tour. Glad we tried it. The Lobster Roll was the best we had on our tour. The atmosphere and friendly staff added to a great lunch . We enjoyed walking around the town what a beautiful area.

Concord, being a quintessential old New England town, itself is a big bonus off course. It is quite close to Boston but the closer local attractions, like the old battlefield and Walden pond make the colonial inn in Concord the best basis for exploring New England and the birth of the U.S.A.. Apart from the location the inn, and the... More

Our bus tour stopped for lunch and some friends and I decided to try the Colonial Inn, at the recommendation of our tour guide. We were so glad we did! We were seated in a quaint and cozy room that spelled "relax". Our choice of entree was the Lobster Roll and it was incredible! It was so tasty I tried... More

Our bus tour stopped in Concord long enough for a little exploration of this magnificent town, and lunch. So much to experience in such little time. I am glad we chose wisely and took time to experience the fine food of the Colonial Inn. The lobster roll is large enough to share. If one brushes up on the history of... More

Very charming, comfortable inn with excellent dining experience! Lobster rolls to die for and the seafood bisque could not have been better! All in all a lovely experience and hope to return to this beautiful spot!

We chose this inn for its heritage status but were hugely disappointed. The bed was uncomfortable and sagged in the middle. The windows appeared to open but were secured with panes on the outside preventing the sashes moving. In the event of an emergency it would have been difficult to escape as the layout was confusing and the signs non-existent... More
