My husband and I stayed here the Saturday before the Boston marathon. We considered ourselves lucky to find a room at all. We had come for a family birthday celebration the following day (at another location). The parking is a little dicey; it is crowded during the day and nearly impossible at night. Some friends joined us for dinner at... More

Didn't stop there in the end, rooms were dark, noisy and the whole hotel smelled of paint (great when your husband has asthma). No appologies, or refund. Never again! There is no more to say on this hotel

We stayed in the offsite cottage, which was just across the parking lot of the inn itself, so conveniently located for the continental breakfast and the restaurant. The setup was great for our two small families to interact but also have privacy: two bedrooms (both with TVs), 1 1/2 baths, and kitchen with small 4-person table for playing games or... More

I have often had lunch or drinks at the Colonial Inn but this was the first time staying overnight in Concord. The staff were all welcoming and we enjoyed both drinks and appetizers in the Forge Tavern as well as a full meal in the Merchant's Row restaurant. We found out quite by accident that we were booked into one... More

There is a sweet gift shop and a lovely dining room with excellent food. I had a pretty room with a view of a beautiful church. A short walk takes you to the center of town where there are wonderful shops including a chocolate specialist, a cheese specialist and artisan jewelers. I was very happy and hope to return soon.

This is one of the loveliest hotels. The historic aspect is fascinating. The location could not be better. The restaurants are so nice with great options. Prices are good. People are wonderfully friendly. My room was nice but I was disappointed not to have a tub - but on my next stay I simply asked and a room with a... More

I stayed here for a one night getaway from Boston and loved the cozy and quaint atmosphere of the inn. The front desk staff member was very pleasant and greeted me right away. She showed me to my room, a comfortable and homey place to stay. Everything was very clean and the shower was absolutely fantastic! It was a great... More

Almost Everything about this place was excellent. The staff could not have been more helpful and courteous. The location was first rate - the bed was very comfortable and the room generally well kept. My only small complaint was the state of the walls in the barhroom, which were peeling - the toilet roll holder was falling off the wall.... More

We had a wonderful time at Colonial Inn. We were in a front room overlooking Monument Square, and it was so easy to imagine myself back 240 years, watching the redcoats march by. The room was beautiful, although it was a bit noisy from the traffic driving by. We ate in the restaurant and had a delicious meal. Bill, our... More
