About the only thing we liked about this Inn was its location on the town square. The website stated that the rooms are "elegant, comfortable and historic" . Well, ours dowdy, cramped, and in an added-on wing in the back. The cramped parking lot was right outside our window and the service trucks parked right there - we could reach... More

I was there in winter and it was surprisingly busy. It has an onsite restaurant which was nice. There is no elevator and the stairwells are quite narrow, but the staff is more than willing to help you get your luggage upstairs. There is a labrynth of staircase (small and narrow), but it quite charming. The rooms are small but... More

I stayed at the Inn in January 2012 and found the room to be clean comfortable and, for an older hotel, to be well maintained. Parking is very conveniently located at the back of the hotel but requires the use of stairs to get to the front desk. The main part of the hotel is very nice (built in 1716)... More

This review will be short. Again, we didn't actually STAY at the Inn, but as we were touring Concord, decided to stop in for food. The food was decent / average, if (at the time) a little pricey, which we expected. We had a buffet, and so had to make our way through the building to get to the food,... More

My husband and I arrived after a long day to check into our previously booked room at the Colonial Inn. We hadn't stayed there before but it looked lovely from the outside. We got there and were told that they were out of rooms at the inn so had been upgraded to a suite at Rebecca's Guest House, part of... More

Situated in the historic center of Concord, Massachusetts, the Colonial Inn is a picturesque and quaint looking inn. With its inviting outside deck, patriotic flags and flower boxes it's very photogenic. But don't let these looks deceive you; this is a historic property in the worst sense possible. First, the entrance to the inn is from the far from quaint... More

My wife and I used to frequent B&B'S before kids and haven't done this kind of thing in years (though we do travel quite a bit as a family). We recently had a free weekend (with babysitting available!) and went to the Boston area. The inn itself is what you expect...early american and common areas decorated that way. Very clean... More

I was treated to a three day two night birthday getaway by my now fiancee, Patty. Being an American History buff, Veteran and a lover of great Authors. I was very excited to travel to Concord Massachussetts for the first time. This is the "cradle of the American Revolution". Our stay ay the Colonial Inn was average. The room was... More

My wife and I wanted to spend our anniversary in another old colonial inn like we did last year, but this time in Concord, so this place looked like a great option and I booked and paid for a deluxe suite for 4 nights. When we arrived however, we were given a regular room....which ended up being over the noisy... More

I love this old place - such historic character and a beautiful setting. I like to sit on the front porch and watch the leaves fall or walk to the old north bridge. The food and beverages in the restaurants and pubs are excellent – I love the fine ales – clam chowder is great. Jazz night on Wednesdays is... More
