I stayed a couple of nights here whilst on business and I have to say it is a lovely place. A real treat after the usual American industrial hotels. The service is exceptional. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating to all needs. The only slight negative are the rooms in the Prescott wing which are right next to a busy... More

We stayed at the Inn in the center of historic Concord, a town that successfully trades on its role in the American Revolution. The property has welcomed guests for generations, and the original building oozes with charm, is very authentic to its original construction and wel appointed with 19th Century furnishings. The room, facing Monument Square was good sized, with... More

We stayed in a Queen room in the Historic section: room 18 (418). At first glance the room is lovely, old, clean and you know you ARE in colonial New England. The bathroom is rather small, but it had a tub and plenty of towels. Unfortunately, the only mirror in the room is the one over the sink. There was... More

The room itself was as expected...as a three hundred year old inn you know the rooms are not top notch...We were in the Prescott wing which we learned later was not the best place to be. We were right on the road and was kept awake by the snow plows and sidewalk cleaners all night. The bathroom was teeny, with... More

I had an excellent time at the Colonial Inn, and thought the price was good considering the location and quality. We stayed in one of the "historical" rooms rather than in the business section, and I would recommend that highly. The room was gigantic, and the bed was comfortable. The location is within walking distance of almost everything of interest... More

Hi there!! We agree that a stay in the historic section makes the stay in Concord that much more enchanting! The rooms are so nicely decorated and you're right when you mention the larger size. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and location. We look forward to having you again! More

Desk clerk told us all about the ghosts in the inn. That was not exactly what we were interested in. Bed was terrible. Worn out big valley in the middle. Wanted to stay an extra few hours the next day. Had to pay a half days fare! Desk clerk said, "oh that is a very popular room, but we will... More

Concord is a charming town with an obsession with the start of the war of independence -- which started here. We stayed there to be near some friends and this inn seemed the best option, through taken reluctantly because of previous reviews. Our Prescott wing room was small, dowdy and very noisy from external traffic, particularly because it was all... More

We are sorry that you did not thoroughly enjoy your stay here with us. It sounds like you were here while we were doing a very long overdue water main project and at this time, there were metal plates put over holes in the road. You are correct that other guests were equally bothered-- several asked to move and were... More

Arrived without reservation with several ahead of me, for lunch. Short wait as all the tables were full. Asked for seating outside. Accomodated. Was in between museums. Service was not real attentive, but the server was apologetic. Did receive fresh cornbread at the end of the meal, as it was in the oven. Food tasty and interesting presentation. Loved the... More

We have stayed at the Colonial Inn each October for perhaps twenty years. In truth the rooms have been uneven and so too the service, with food being good but pricey. Somewhere after a couple of days this fall I inquired about the management--thinking someone new must be calling the shots for from the front desk at the time of... More

What a nice review! While some management had changed, some of us still remain. The whole team has been reconstructed and has been working hard to provide the level of service that matches this beautiful Inn. I am elated that you feel we have come so far, as we have worked hard to get there! We look forward to having... More

Wonderfully atmospheric building. Oozes history. Rooms were good size and very comfortable. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Great experience. Very picturesque town. Visit North Bridge and the Authors Ridge section of main Cemetary.
