We came to the hotel by night, tired and thinking only about the shower and bed...the location of the place, the quality of the room and the hotel itself was the best award after a long trip. Modern, friendly place with amazing history and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

The Parador at Puebla de Sanabria is a modern facility that provides a comfortable stay. If you're driving, parking is conveniently right there, much of it under cover. The reception areas and common spaces are well appointed and suitable for groups that may be traveling or doing business together. Our room had everything we needed from a comfortable bed to... More

... which is, refreshingly, a modern, cleanly designed and equipped hotel, without long humid corridors, creaking floors and omnipresent fake Spanish coffers on wheels. The beds are outstanding, the bathroom roomy, the only down side that it is impossible to sit normally on the loo, because some nincompoop mounted the spare roll holder in a most awkward position against the... I've seen a lot of reviews claiming this hotel is too modern to be a parador, but it doesn't claim to be an old historic building, and personally I would prefer honesty to faux antiquity. If you want historic take a short walk across the bridge and up the hill (or take the steps if you have the lungs), and... More

This recently built property is a departure from traditional paradors and I can understand it may thus not be to everyone's taste, however it certainly was to ours. Our room was large and comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the reasonably priced dinner (there's a dearth of decent places to eat in the village) good. That this place seems to be... More

The place is not bad at all, but its simply not a Parador. The builiding has no charm whatsoever, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. We paid about 172 € for a simple room, which is really too much for a small village in Castilia and a place which has nothing special. The breakfast was good but the staff... More

The staff were polite and friendly, the rooms were immaculately clean, but so small we couldn't fit in our two suitcases. There was little atmosphere in the restaurant but that may be because it was very quiet. Don't know why on earth it is four star. Out of the twenty or so Paradors we have stayed in, this is our... We stayed at the hotel for one night on our Parador Route through the Kingdom of León. The hotel is a small, modern, building on the outskirts of town. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large bathroom and a splendid view of the town. Personally, the hotel was a little too far out of town for a stroll,... More

A very smart modern parador with excellent views of the village, a walk up to the old part and the castle is well worth the effort. Our bedroom was rather small but comfortable, the bathroom spacious and well appointed. The pool was very nice but the temperature suggested if was fed from a mountain spring. Dinner in the dining room... More

We only stayed one night at this hotel but loved it. We had a lovely room which was quiet and extremely comfortable with a large bathroom. Very pleasant staff and a very nice light and airy restaurant. There is also a small cafeteria which offers lighter snacks. Nice outside terrace to sit with a drink and a large car park.... More
