Stayed here for 2 nights, both mornings had breakfast which was 7€ extra but well worth it! the whole stay was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean, furniture and storage excellent, bathroom fab especially the jacuzzi bath! Balcony was a lovely place to sit and relax, bed comfy and big. The harbour... More

We were warmly welcomed to the La Cosona de Pio after a little difficulty locating it in the narrow streets of Cudillero. The hotel is somewhat dark and our room (201) had a distinctive smell of disinfectant. We decided, therefore, to spend our single night in Cudillero’s Square and climbing the Mirador (the stairway to the lighthouse had collapsed). The... More

Lovely hotel , friendly staff and beautifully decorated. It is located in the center of town in an old house . The village is small but charming , recommend up to two viewpoints and walk the old and new docks.

Myself and my husband stayed here for two nights in April as part of a rail tour of northern Spain. We found the hospitality provided by Rosario absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was delightful, beautifully decorated and with ample storage, plug sockets and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was also excellent and included several home made... More

I travelled to Cudillero with my husband and our friends and stayed at La Casona del Pio for 2 nights in November. The hotel was very impressive particularly for a 2 star hotel. It was clean, beautifully decorated, the bedroom extremely comfortable and bathroom could not be faulted. We had rooms with a balcony overlooking local bars and would recommend... More

La Casona de Pio in the village of Cudillero is such a charming, cozy place to stay - I truly wished we had more than one night to spend there. The rooms are clean, (although I recommend immediately unplugging the overpowering air freshener,) rather spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and open up to a small terrace overlooking the narrow streets of... The village of Cudillero in Asturias Spain is very pretty built on the the hillside with attractive walks. The hotel despite being 2 star has many of the facilities one will find in so called better hotels. Furthermore it is bang on the front and the staff are so very helpful.

First and foremost, many thanks to Rosario the proprietor who was incredibly helpful and gracious via email while planning our trip, and equally so when we were there. Since we were traveling by train/bus (i.e., no car) she gave us tips on getting there, and arranged for taxi service to/from Oviedo and Aviles for our arrival and departure. And since... More

This is a lovely wee hotel - not fancy but clean and central with decent sized rooms and great breakfasts. So, overall good value, I think. The owners, Rosario and Alfredo (and all their staff) are so friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Most speak great English too. We were made very welcome and got great recommendations... More

This hotel is located in the center of the small fishing village of Cudillero. The staff was very helpful and there were nice little touches in everything they did. The building is an old fish processing plant that has been converted into a hotel. Some of the fixtures and decor are a bit dated, but everything is clean an functional.... More
