I travelled to Cudillero with my husband and our friends and stayed at La Casona del Pio for 2 nights in November. The hotel was very impressive particularly for a 2 star hotel. It was clean, beautifully decorated, the bedroom extremely comfortable and bathroom could not be faulted. We had rooms with a balcony overlooking local bars and would recommend... More

La Casona de Pio in the village of Cudillero is such a charming, cozy place to stay - I truly wished we had more than one night to spend there. The rooms are clean, (although I recommend immediately unplugging the overpowering air freshener,) rather spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and open up to a small terrace overlooking the narrow streets of... The village of Cudillero in Asturias Spain is very pretty built on the the hillside with attractive walks. The hotel despite being 2 star has many of the facilities one will find in so called better hotels. Furthermore it is bang on the front and the staff are so very helpful.

First and foremost, many thanks to Rosario the proprietor who was incredibly helpful and gracious via email while planning our trip, and equally so when we were there. Since we were traveling by train/bus (i.e., no car) she gave us tips on getting there, and arranged for taxi service to/from Oviedo and Aviles for our arrival and departure. And since... More

This is a lovely wee hotel - not fancy but clean and central with decent sized rooms and great breakfasts. So, overall good value, I think. The owners, Rosario and Alfredo (and all their staff) are so friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Most speak great English too. We were made very welcome and got great recommendations... More

This hotel is located in the center of the small fishing village of Cudillero. The staff was very helpful and there were nice little touches in everything they did. The building is an old fish processing plant that has been converted into a hotel. Some of the fixtures and decor are a bit dated, but everything is clean an functional.... More

We needed a stopover driving from Bilbao to Santiago and so glad we picked Cudillero. It's a picturesque fishing village with small houses hugging the steep hills. This hotel is cute and homely and really close to the harbour where you have to park. Steep steps to reception no problem for us but you need to know. Beautifully appointed rooms... More

We stayed at La Casona on a one night stopover in this very quaint small historic isolated fishing village. Hotel (which is ideally located) was perfect for our needs although we didn't have breakfast which I note other reviews say is very good. Surrounded by steep hills all around and an equally steep and challenging walk above the village overlooking... More

Situated in a beautiful quaint fishing village, this hotel is the best in town a few paces to the square. The staff speak good English and are very helpful., it appears to be family run. The breakfast for 7 Euros is amazing. Don't miss it. Wifi is not very good. But everything else makes up for it.
