Thank you to the lovely women at the Casona de la Paca who so graciously allowed me to use their facilities to clean up after a nasty fall walking the Camino. They were friendly and helpful. The hotel was my oasis. Many thanks. Jane

Hotel A lovely, welcoming, beautifully situated hotel with the most warm and helpful staff imaginable. Our ground floor room, with doors on to the garden was comfortable and perfectly suited to our needs. The remainder of the downstairs is lovely - large, light sitting rooms and a breakfast area. (Home cooked breakfasts were superb). The staff also run a small... More

Friendly owners, beautifully tended property, nice modern suites. You should be aware though, that to walk to Cudillero will take about 15 minutes down a pretty steep slope and getting back, especially in the dark, will be challenging. On the way back take a taxi, it is only 5 euro. Beautiful scenery in the vicinity, owners will be happy to... More

The Indianos were Asturians who emigrated to South America because of local poverty, made a fortune in South America or the Caribbean, and returned with their new wealth to build these large, showy, houses. Once you know the story, you can spot them in many towns and villages along the Asturian coast. You can visit a museum of emigration in... More

A great little hotel out of the touristy bustle of Cudillero itself. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations for beaches and restaurants. Perfect English! Our room turned out to be a suite with a little balcony! We couldn't have been happier with the quiet rooms, the shady garden or the lavish breakfast buffet: two tables--one for savories and... Casona de la Paca is impressive even before you step thorough the doors. On first sight for me the Casona de la Paca had a 'wow' factor. It is a beautifully restored and exquisitely furnished house of three floors in which the tastefully and immaculately clean arranged rooms are situated. The surrounding gardens are immaculately kept and are offer a... More

Stayed one night in this delightful resort. The hotel is an old 19th century large house with an apartment block set in the extensive grounds. Apartments are dog friendly, whereas the hotel is not. We had a Very modern, well fitted, open plan apartment. Comfy bed. Large gardens. Friendly, welcoming staff. No restaurant on site, but there is one within... More

Stayed in this lovely old-style hotel before flying back to the UK after a few days in wonderful Asturias. Great value, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful lounges and public areas. Wished we had stayed longer and will do so next visit. It is quite a long walk down steps to the town but there is a lovely quirky old restaurant... More

This hotel is one of those special places where it is not only the decor that is old fashioned. The house is impeccable restored with beautiful furniture and well-kept garden. But the staff were really made this place so special with their old fashioned manners and service. They were extremely friendly, the ladies at the front desk spoke excellent English... More
