We chose Cudillero as our home base and Casona de la Paca was a rural setting with parking included. It is a beautiful home with very nice breakfast (not included). Very comfortable and clean room with balcony and quiet in the evenings. We had a separate sitting area as well. The main floor is also gorgeous, great place to sit... More

After scoping out online the fishing village of Cudillero as an overnight stop along the coast, we next checked TripAdvisor for hotel ratings. Onsite parking was important to us, so Casona de la Paca was our choice over some of the small quaint hotels closer to the center of town and the harbor. The location was good for us, we... More

We started our driving tour of the northern Spanish coastline here, and were delighted with the choice. Booking early, we scored the rooftop apartment with 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside and the coastline. Perched above the Cudillero fishing village itself, either a bit of a walk or tricky drive down, we spent less time in the village than... More

We travelled with small children and grandparents. Grandparents had a very lovely room in the main house. It couldnt be faulted. We, on the other hand, had a family room which was very outdated and had an awful musty smell. It didn't compare to the rest of the house and we were very disappointed as it was expensive for what... We stayed at Casona de la Paca for 8 nights during our tour of Northern Spain. The hotel is full of character and the rooms are superb. We booked one of the rooms with the sitting area attached which was very good. We did have a problem in that the toilet kept flushing itself every few minutes which is a... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of our honeymoon. Having spent the previous week crawling through bushes looking for wolves and bears, I thought it prudent to treat the wife to a luxury hotel. This beautiful hotel did not disappoint and from the minute you drive through the magnificent gates, you know you are somewhere... More

Run by the owner, this small, gracious hotel outside Cudillero is well-staffed, and provides a hospitable and welcoming place to stay overnight or for a few days. There is a garden and outside space to relax. Inside the house has been lovingly restored and the rooms are spacious and charming. Breakfasts are generous with lots of choice of the most... More

We spent a week in this beautifully restored Indianos mansion and relaxed totally amid its lush gardens and light filled comfy room. The staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable and the breakfasts were delicious. Yes, the house was noisy at times because of the creaking floorboards but the character of the place outweighed any such inconveniences.

I stayed in more than 35 hotels while travelling around Spain and this hotel was one of my favourites. It is a large home that was restored and revamped to become a small boutique hotel. It is just outside of Cudillero which is itself a charming little coastal village carved into the slate rock of the mountains boasting some of... More

This is extremely charming boutique hotel. Beautifully restored old house with high comfort bedrooms and lovely garden, our stay was extremely pleasant and relaxing. The whole house is tastefully decorated, bedrooms are of good size and beds very comfortable. The hotel is pristine clean and the atmosphere very chilling. Downstairs lounge with fire place is very cosy place to spend... More
