We spent 3 wonderful nights here! The room was very nice with a covered balcony and a fantastic view along the valley to the Picos Europas. Breakfast was very enjoyable: well prepared and served with a smile and joke! By far the star is the host Paloma: she is great fun, a brilliant drawer of maps to guide your exploration... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location, situated between the village square with the town hall and easy parking and the impressive River Sella which flows rapidly along the side of the Hotel. I had a lovely room on the first floor with a double bed, flat screen TV, en suite shower room and glass doors to a wonderful reading... More

I was there for Spring Break of 2013 with my girlfriend, and loved it!! The hotel is located in a very central location to get to know all of Asturias, especially Ribadesella and the beautiful Picos de Europa. The rooms are very nice, with a clean rustique touch that gives it a lot of charm. Nice breakfast in the terrace... More

I booked and stayed for two days on a business trip and my company paid 170 EUROS for two nights of a double room for single use. The hotel is very well located, clean immaculate and beds are fine but walls are like thin paper and both the staff and owner behave like you were here as if there was... More

I expected the hotel to be more rural and quiet but in fact it is next to a busy road on a bridge leading out of the town. The rooms are rather rundown but adequate and on one side they overlook the river and the mountains in the distance, on the other side overlooking the car-park plaza. Very cosy sitting... More

I absolutely loved the charm of the Casona del Sella. It was the former home of a man who made his fortune in Cuba then was lovingly renovated into a 14 bedroom hotel. Each room was beautifully decorated with style and grace. I am an American who loves experiencing the charm of Spain. If I wanted to stay in a... More

A wonderful experience. Each day stayed was another adventure. Hiking and riding in Mountains one day; Seashore the next. Hidden away restaurants pointed out by the staff produced some of the best food I've ever eaten. Don't go here to diet. Go to feast! When everyone else was sweltering in the summer, these mountains to the seashore are cool and... More

The Casona was recommended to me by a schoolteacher friend who goes to the San Fermines festival every year and then goes to the Casona to”wind down” afterwards. I, too, have discovered that the Casona is a wonderful place for relaxing. If the weather is inclement, the living room is the place to be, in front of a nice fire.... More

We travelled all the way from Chicago to visit the North of Spain, wich some friends had recommended us. It didn´t let us down. We went in the month of June, staying for a week in Galicia (wich I liked less than asturias) and another week in Arriondas in Asturias, at this wonderful hotel. Our friends had told us abouth...
