Myself and the wife wanted a holiday in Spain that was a bit off the tourist track yet was still within driving distance of some major attractions. We settled on Salobrena because it was close to Granada and the Sierra Nevada and, of course, the sea. Hostal Jayma was exactly what we were looking for: it was very reasonable and... More

We stayed in this nice hotel near the centre of Salobrena for 6 nights, after our friends who live there recommended it to us. Its tucked away up a side street, close to local amenities but fairly quiet. The hosts were lovely. Room was clean and a nice size. We were in 104 which has a small balcony facing the... More

My husband and I did not have a very pleasant experience with the service. To start out I paid over 60 euros for one night and a couple hours later my husband found out he had to work and the staff was very hesitant to change the night of the stay to the following night even though it wasn't booked.Finally... The hotel, although lovely, is a little far away from the point where all the nice bars and swimming beaches are. This doesn't pose an issue if you have access to a car. Check in was simple and smooth. This is a family run business and the owners really go out of their way to make sure you have a... More

My brother-in-law and his wife had stayed 3 years earlier, and on arrival we were a family of 8 and were made so welcome - Nothing was a problem, The hotel was spotless, and the security system was second to none. The 4 bedrooms we occupied were very clean and tidy. The local area was very nice and car parking... More

Welcoming friendly owners, good location, bed was comfortable. We had room with a balcony with views of the town & the hills in the distance. Javier recommended local restaurants which we tried & enjoyed. Parking close to the Hotel in a narrow one way street worked fine for us.It may not be an option at busier times of the year... More

Hotel is situated in the center of Salobrena and you can walk to the beach in 15 minutes. We parked our can on the street in front of the hotel, which was fine. Luckily it was not any busier day / time, as it was quite narrow one way street with limited parking options. Our room was very clean and... More

This is a very good choice next to the old town of Salobreña. You can walk through the town, visit Alpujarras for a day or go to the beach. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The space in front of the hotel to unload your luggage from the car is very convenient. Definitely... More

Best place we stayed at out of four during an Andalucian trip. Super room with al the facilities one would need, very attentive owners - Spain had suddenly become cold and electric heater was produced without asking. Amazing value for money - will definitely revisit if we return to Salobrena. Sadly it was too cold to take advantage of the... More

Salobreña is a typical Spanish town not at all overrun with tourism which suits us just fine. The host of Hostel Jayma is called Javier who was very pleasant and spoke to us in Spanish which was what we had asked for. We had a Nice clean room with a comfy bed, flat screen tv, good wifi and a small... More
