This is a delightful Hostal. Quiet and peaceful but so close to restaurants, bars and shops. The beach is only 12/15 minutes walk. Jean Pierre and Mari Carmen are excellent hosts and made us very welcome. They were very helpful with advice and suggestions on where to go, places to see, etc. Our room was very well appointed, a good... More

This hostal is in a quiet backstreet in Salobrena but close to shops etc. and with close access to the hill to the old town and historic moorish castle. The proprietor and his wife are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served in an open courtyard sort of area. Only continental breakfast is available... We were shown to the Cordoba room which was fab, spotless clean and perfect sized double room. Jean-Pierre and his wife were brilliant hosts and gave us a few tips as to were to eat in the town. Lovely place to stay with plenty of personal touches. Jean-Pierre and his wife were very welcoming and I felt it a shame we didn't spend more time with them and Titan their dog. Rooms were cleaned dairy and provided toiletries and the essential air conditioning. We had a lovely spacious room that was well worth the fee and had four... More

We recently stayed here for 6 nights & whilst we enjoyed our stay, the town had a very neglected, rundown air. The hostel itself was ok - at only 55. euros a night, we weren't expecting luxury. The owners were very helpful. The shower was awful - barely room to move & a meagre dribble of water & the towels... More

This hostal is clean, quiet and relaxing. The owners were friendly and responded to our email inquiries promptly. The four-legged welcoming committee was a cheerful site after a day of driving.

The great value of this clean, quiet, airy Hostal is amplified by its convivial host, Jean-Pierre, who delights in looking after his guests. Breakfast is simple: toast, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice for 4 Euros. It's a Hostal, not a hotel, so don't expect a pool or parking (catch as catch can - and in July/August, expect to walk... More

We stayed here for three nights in May. The hostal is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean and there the enclosed patio on the ground floor is lovely and there are lots of plants everywhere. Our room was cleaned daily. Two small bottles of water were in the room on arrival. There is a TV and Air con, although we didn't need... More
