This place is truly wonderful. First there are the rooms: you can either stay in an original cave dwelling, or you can get a cave-like room, and if you are a couple ask for the honeymoon suite with the ladder to the skylight right next to your bed (there is a little bench there, just for two), really special! This place is very nice, clean and quiet. Really a place to relax, enjoy the food and the hamman. Besides that it is relatively close to places that are worth a visit, e.g. Castril, Freila. But also a visit to city centre of Baza is nice, which is very close by. We only stayed 1 night, as a stopover between... More

Spent a wonderful, extremely peaceful week here (in June, mid-season). The 2-person cave we stayed in was beautiful, bigger and much more appealing in reality than it appears in the photos and had all you could want for basic self catering - including washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, small hob and microwave (and a TV, which against all the odds admittedly... A beautiful unique place!! Very clean, very cool inside, beautifully decorated.....a must to visit!! We are here for two nights, will report back after full experience! David was very friendly from the day that I enquired. Reception at caves very good and David assisted with suggestions for sightseeing.

I was a little doubtful when my husband suggested staying in a cave house. I imagined a claustrophobic, dark experience. As it happened, it couldn't have been further from the truth! Our cave was light, clean and bright. Not a bug, cobweb or speck of dust to be seen. We only stayed one night, so didn't self-cater but the cave... More

This is an interesting and unique place to stay, and i would recommend people give it a go, but it really wasn't for us. The cave itself is very sweet, and has been decorated to a high standard. A big issue for me was mainly the bugs and flies that were everywhere, and i hate bugs. I may have been... More

We went for 5 days and 4 nights, the experience was incredible. The price was fantastic and it snowed the first day that made it like paradise. The caves are exclusive, so carefully prepared and comfortable they have all your needs covered, even a dishwasher and a washing machine. I really cant say what was the best part as all... More

We were the only guests at the time of our stay and were thoroughly spoilt by the delightful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Whilst a lick of paint was needed on the patio furniture and on some of the walls, everything was spotlessly clean. We will definitely return.

I have stayed here four times, because every time someone would visit me during my sabatical in Spain, I made a point of bringing them here. First off, you get to experience living in an authentic cave-house which is quite the experience. Secondly, there is the baths which everyone will love. Thirdly, the meals and the service is friendly and... More

At the outset I have to declare that I am not a fan of sleeping underground without outside window access and natural air flow. So why go and stay in a hole. Well invited by friends. If anyone is attracted by the idea of cave living you should try this out. The rooms (caves) are picture perfect, but you are... More
