Stayed here a couple of summers ago. Would thoroughly recommend it. We stayed in Cave 6 which is off the main site (approx 5 mins walk) it is the oldest and most rustic of the caves and belongs to the owners father. Large spacious cave. When we were there the temp was approx 40' and it was nice and cool inside. The main bar and restaurant are basic with good (huge) portions of moroccon style food eg tangines. Breakfast very basic but was ok. Children loved sleeping in a cave and adored the play caves. There is a supermarket about 10 mins drive away if you want to self cater and the town of Baza has all the usual shops amenities. When we were there there was no pool which was a shame as it was so hot although I believe one should open this summer. We stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting the Alhambra en route to friends in La Herradura on the coast. It takes approx 1 hour to Granada and a little more tot he Sierra Nevadas. The coast is around 2 hrs. A lovely spot for a bit of down time... more
