We stayed here for 2 nights on a walking holiday and stayed in the newer annex. The hotel is converted from two village houses. and to get to it you walk up 50 or so steep steps from a narrow ally, which is a little tricky to find initially. The room was very comfortable and had great view across the... More

We stayed here for just one night during April. Trevelez is a nice little town, and the hotel is very nice, and good value. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was generous and varied. The room was comfy and clean, with a nice balcony and small bath. The restaurant, which is next door, is very good and serves lots of tasty,... More

Stayed here for two nights whilst walking the SN. There are two hotels 1 & 11 very close together (same name). 11 has a superb bar and restaurant. All the staff were very warm and welcoming despite our limited Spanish. We eat in the restaurant twice and the food was excellent. Be careful when ordering drinks in the bar! They... More

What an excellent hotel this is, brilliant service and the staff here cant do enough to help, even to the point of lending me a wooden walking pole when I was about to set off on a day long walk up Mulhacen mountain to La Siete Lagunas without one!! I had a room off the front terrace and it was... More

Great spot at the top of the town, the room was perfectly clean and having a balcony with a view was wonderful. Breakfast was modest though but we got enough. We loved the location. Their restaurant was good, not great. The food was fundamentally good but we thought it was bland. Still we would definitely stay again.

We came to Trevelez by foot and it is a long climb from the river up to the hotel, which is situated at the very top of the town. The hotel itself is very charming but the rooms we had were really quite small and at the top of the building - quite a climb with heavy baggage! The restaurant... More

On a quiet little street just a shortish walk from the Bario Medio. If you find the car parking full there are two other quite large parking areas close by.Note that it is difficult to get a car to La Fragua 1 and even more difficult getting to La Fragua 2 but it is worth the walk. The excellent La Fragua... We stayed one night at La Fragua 1. We had a room upstairs with access just off a large terrace. The hotel was quiet so we had the terrace to ourselves. The views were wonderful. The room was small to average size and nicely decorated. The location is in the highest part of Trevelez. We walked into Trevelez. There is... More

The staff were so friendly and helpfull, nothing was to much for them. The rooms were very clean and heated by underfloor heating, the bathrooms had lots of hot water, after a days hike was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was very substantial. I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

We were directed to this restaurant by our hosts at El CastaNar Nazari (highly recommended). Very reasonably priced traditional food prepared extremely well. Service friendly and helpful. Stunning views upstairs; a bar downstairs where locals gather in the evenings. We kept returning and ate there 3 evenings during our stay in this area. Best food and value for Trevelez!
