This place is the real deal! The full package! And most equally important, worth the challenge of getting here (you WILL need a car and the ability to navigate tight mountain roads). The owners and staff diligently attend to every detail in order to make the stay comfortable and memorable for all the reasons described throughout the many 5-star reviews... More

There is no words to describe how wonderful Patricia and Manuel are. From the moment you set foot in their hotel, they make sure to accommodate you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel is very well appointed, we travelled with young kids and they had plenty to entertain them. Patricia is a wonderful cook and the... More

Very hard to describe this wonderful slice of heaven. Only minutes from downtown Granada, the hotel-de-charme is completely isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city. A large family, with the in-laws in tow, we sought a place where we could simply relax. Almunia sits on a mountain face looking onto the mountains and valleys beyond. The hotel is... More

We had planned to stay in downtown Granada but decided to book this place in Monachil in the hills just a few minutes south of the Alhambra and downtown. What a stroke of genius as we had wonderful views of the hills and cities from a quite setting in which to enjoy nature and great accommodations. We were 20 minutes... More

This little hotel has à wonderful setting in the hills. The room had all the necessities you need. Our room had a pink setting and à small balcony with a great view. The dinner, that has to be pre-booked, is a must. If the weather allows it. is served on the terrace, nice as the sun sets behind the hills.... More

Just two nights and wish it had been longer. Hosts Manuel and Patricia are very welcoming. The views are stunning, the rooms lovely and evening meals cooked by Patricia and co. are splendid and very fair value. The breakfast too is worth lingering over. All in all a very fine, grown-up hotel for grown-ups. And other than that the other... More

We recently spent two nights in this beautiful and peaceful retreat - it wasn't enough! It is hard to believe that the bustling city of Granada is only a 20 minute drive away. The views are breath taking, the air is clear and the night sky is magical. We had one meal cooked by Patricia which was exquisite. As a... More

Stayed for three nights in room seven, with balcony and just wonderful views. As many have already said this hotel is about 1200m up a small and steep single track road. It's no issue and allows the property to benefit from some of the best views of any hotel I have ever stayed. The hotel itself is small but the... More

La Almunia Del Valle is a place that I will remember forever. I spent 2 days there in September and had a wonderful experience. The owners are very kind and are happy to help make your stay even better by providing information for shops and interesting places to see in Granada. The 35 Euro (per person) dinner is absolutely worth... More

We recently spent 4 nights here and were so pleased that we did. Ten minutes drive from Granada, it was the perfect base for us to enjoy the local area. Peaceful and relaxing, with stunning views of the Sierra Nevada this small hotel offered everything we needed. Delightful staff, lovely food (we had the set menu on 2 nights and... More
