Ok, so this hotel gets a bit scary at night. Security might as well be fired, was hidden in the corner reading a book and never looked up once. Quite a few homeless outside lobby asking for money. I have stayed here under previous management company and seen changes for the good in room design, comfort and staff under new management. Each stay has been better than the last. Just love the breakfast attendant, best continental breakfast I have ever experience in small to mid size hotel/motels. Just wish the single rooms were bigger. more

I've generally always enjoyed Super 8 for 1 night as a passing through motel, but never for 3 nights in a city downtown, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised about this particular Super 8. Not what I am used to but it was fairly inexpensive and close to everything downtown. There is a lot to do in this town. They also have free wireless internet which is always a plus. The building is old and the rooms reflect that. One site said it was built in 1917. I don't know how accurate that info... more
