When you walk into this hotel, you are blown away at the impressive lobby. Everyone at check in and event staff is friendly and super-helpful. My issue with this hotel is the less than mediocre housekeeping. Upon checking in, I noticed no soap, no ice bucket liner and a 'not so clean' sink. I called housekeeping and was sent up... More

I just want to say that this hotel was very beautiful. The atrium was huge. Staff that I encountered with were all very nice and helpful. The conference hall was good, food could have been a little better in my opinion but I understand because they are feeding masses. Hotel bar was affordable as well. The room was good, it... More

Stayed for a night in Atlanta this past weekend after a week in South Carolina. The Marquis is located downtown - walking distance to many attractions. We did a package deal that included breakfast, valet parking, coke museum and the aquarium. Fantastic deal - call and ask directly thru their reservation line. Great room with a view on the 26th... Our room was dated and in need of a renovation. Color scheme mainly beige & orange. Some of the furniture was chipped. The bed skirt on my daughter's bed had stains and the duvet cover had holes. It was too warm in the room for the duvet unless the room temp was turned down to the 60's but there was... More

This is a HUGE hotel with lots of conference space. The rooms are a typical Marriott room, but are clean and decent. The lounge for Marriott members is very large, offers drinks and hors d'oeveries. The most impressive part of the hotel is the atrium that is open all the way to the top of the hotel. Its like a... More

This is a beautiful hotel. Visually interesting. The staff was over the top helpful and friendly. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The restaurants are pricey but the serving sizes for the price are enormous. And the food was very good. Staff stood outside the conference on the last day and applauded the attendees. Nice touch. The only... More

Stayed here for a conference. Rooms are basic, but large as most US hotels outside Manhattan. Property might be a bit dated, but I like the huge atrium which creates a nice atmosphere. Good gym and nice with starbucks in-house with good opening hours. I would choose this one instead of Westin.

This place is BIG, and busy. If that's what you're looking for, it's the right place to stay in Atlanta. The lobby and elevators are open up to the 50th floor, for a spectacular view. The views are wonderful, and the hotel is just a few blocks from the attractions around Centennial Park. The size of the hotel means that... More

Do lots of business trips. Can't believe a decent hotel such as the Marriott still continues to charge $15 a day for wifi when several other equivalent hotels nearby it is free. Also I usually leave a small tip for housekeeping when I'm in town a few days but to be given an official envelope asking for tips just seemed... More
