My husband, daughter and I just came back from a stay at Hotel Midtown. After reading the reviews my daughter (in particular) was very leery. I must say that our experience was just dandy. While the place could use some spiffing up it was fine overall - plus the location can't be beat. In addition all the hotel staff we... more

It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel. Though I have to mention that the lobby of this hotel needs a face lift as the first impression one gets on entering the hotel lobby is that its run down and not so inviting . However the rooms are spacious and are equipped with all the basic necessities one requires... more

We stayed here via a travel auction site so not really based on research. Given our price was below market rate it was a great deal for us. I'd say it's average if you paid what I've seen on the web for going rates. Location was great - walking distance to MARTA station, good food (Ecco!), and Piedmont Park to... more

From some of the recent reviews I would not have stayed here except that my professional seminar was being held at the hotel so it became a matter of convenience. The rooms could definitely use updating (carpet was dirty in spots and furniture showing signs of wear) but considering that rooms in downtown Atlanta routinely go for more than $200-$250... more

Should have known from the rate. No where did anyone mention the fact that you have to pay an additional $20 per day for parking or that you have to pay an additional $10 per day for WI-FI access. Restaraunt was overpriced as well. Even the in room movies were $15 each. I will never stay here again. Just a... more

The Midtown Hotel which is formally the Wyndham Midtown is horrible. It was an option for a family wedding. The hotel did not notify the wedding party until September that they were no longer a Wyndham. They lost their Wyndham affiliation because they did not comply with a much needed renovation. The hotel is in very poor shape to say... more

This hotel offers great location to the MARTA, giving you great access to many other areas of Atlanta (i.e. Buckhead, Arts Center, and the airport). It is located in the heart of Atlanta's gay district, with a somewhat limited variety of restaurants. The nightlife is less than average, but offers a few great locations to enjoy lunch, dinner, or drinks... more

Was booked to stay here through work...couldn't choose my own hotel, this is where they stuck me. GROSS! This is 2 star at best. Rooms are VERY old, dirty and look like they haven't been vacuumed in 17 years. Reception looked like it was a delivery entrance...hallways are old and creepy...most disturbing are the rooms, dirty old carpet, peeling wallpaper.... more

The highlight of this hotel is its location. It is squarely in Midtown, 2.5 blocks from the MARTA stop, down the street from the Margaret Mitchell house and a 10 minute walk to Piedmont Park. The Federal Reserve and many other office buildings appear to be nearby. The hotel appears a bit aged, which is its biggest criticism. It looks... more

Booked this hotel because I wanted to be in Midtown. It was excellent. 2 blocks from the MARTA train so we didn't need to rent a car. Right off Peachtree St - which has many places to eat. Close to bars and clubs. The staff was extra friendly and always helpful. The hotel even has a shuttle that will drop... more
