Our room was located in the towers. We were on the 7th floor and still experienced some street noise. The room was clean and the large flat screen tv was great. We found the pillows to be on the small side and the bed was a little hard. We paid $27 a day for parking. Be prepared to wait to... more

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta to go to an Atlanta Braves Baseball game. When you pull up, the bell hops come straight to your car and open your doors, let you out, unload your luggage, and park your car! It was amazing! Then when you go through the revolving door, you enter the HUGE 22 story atrium... more

The lobby bar is open to the roof with one wall in your room separating you from loud drunk people. Downtown hotels are expected to have street noise, but to have street noise and noise inside hotel was too much. We were on the sixth floor and the bar is on the lobby level. Ask for floor as far away... more

I was in town for a concert at the Lakewood Amphitheater earlier this month and decided I wanted to stay downtown to experience some of the city I had never been to. From the time I arrived to the time I left, I was treated wonderfully at this beautiful hotel. My flight got in early morning and I arrived at... more

Conveniently located. MARTA train from Airport $4 round trip 20 minute ride and walk into the hotel from inside (except on Sunday; then outside one short block). The hotel is conventioneers/meetings; however, the staf is responsive to all guests. Because of high occupancy, rooms could be made-up/re-set later in the day, so if you are returning to your room planning... more

I was part of a 400+ group of innkeepers for the annual convention. I called two months in advance and, after informing the operator that I was with the convention, I book a room. She told that I would have received an email confirmation. About three weeks befor the event I called again since no confirmation was received and I... more

This review is written by a business traveler who typically frequents Marriott and Hilton-chain hotels around the wolrd (primarily in the US). This review is based on a three-night stay in May 2009. Pros: - Renovated rooms in the International Tower (you should ask for this during booking). - New linens, beds. - Modern decor: curved shower bars, LCD TV,... more

I stayed in the International Tower at this hotel for a conference. The rooms nearest the tower corners are very quiet. There are rooms in this tower that are located directly in back of the elevators. I moved from one of these rooms to a corner room as the door chimes and elevator pulley noise were bothersome. A great city... more

The Hyatt Regency Atlanta is the place to stay in Downtown Atlanta. The hotel is conveniently located to all the great places to see in Atlanta. The Atlanta Trolley stops at this hotel where you can ride and hop on and hop off to some of the best attractions in Atlanta. The employees in this hotel are very hospitable and... more
