This was our first time to Atlanta, and I had read the reviews of The Highland Inn, and decided to book a two night stay from Jan.10-11th since we were attending a friend's wedding at the nearby Callanwolde Performing Arts Center. The Highland Inn certainly didn't disappoint. My husband and I, along with our teenaged daughters, stayed in a room... More

I like old no frills places, and the Highland Inn is just that. Creaky wood (but carpeted) hallway floors, full of charm. Room is small (one double bed), but it's all I need as a single business traveler. Comfortable upholstered chair, good working desk, speedy wi-fi, free parking and an excellent rate. Place is pet-friendly but I notice no aroma... More

Look, the Highland Inn isn't for everyone. The rooms are small, paint is lumpy, the carpet is worn, and you might see a cat wandering the hallway. But I LOVE this place. For a pedestrian experience of intown Atlanta (great food, music venues, funky boutiques) The Highland Inn is great. It's clean, and the price is right. Lots of bands... More

We have stayed in Atlanta many times over the years. We went to a trade show and all the hotels were pretty full & thus pretty expensive if one was available. We found this great little inn and loved our stay. We were comfortable and the service is so much more and better than a big hotel. What a great... More

Nice quite historic hotel. Small rooms. Small hallways, small showers but... what a nice place. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Coffee fruit and pastry in the morning, normally at 630 but when asked to make it for 6, very accomidating. Nice area close to a nice bbq restautant. Runners and bikers everywhere. Would recommend this hotel if your interested in... More

Stayed overnight for interview travel. Basically only long enough to check in, sleep, get up, and check out. I found that it was a very clean, simple room with a comfortable bed and flat screen tv. I will reiterate what others have stated, which is that staff were very helpful and courteous. There is a black cat who walks around... More

I stumbled across the Highland Inn and was VERY pleased. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, mini fridge in the room and free parking. What else do you need? It was nothing fancy. Nothing elegant. Just simple. GREAT location!!! 15 minutes to the VA/Emory. Staff was great! If you want a Hilton...go to a Hilton.

This hotel is located in a great location near walking distance to restaurants and a nice running trail. It's not always the nicest of rooms and it can get noisy at nice, but it serves the purpose for when I'm travelling for business since I don't need a car or the Marta to get around town. This is a distance... More

We were there on the 30th to the 31st. Hotel is old. Step up to get into an bathroom. Trip hazard. The door knob fell out and friend had to get me out there. Clean room. We even had kitchen area. Two double bed. Room was good size. My bed was uncomfortable felt like I was being attack by springs... More
