I started a recent road trip from Atlanta. There aren't many inexpensive hotels in downtown Atlanta but picked the Days Inn as it was not pricey and had had some good reviews on Trip Adviser. I turned up late on Sunday night and got checked-in quick. The man on reception pointed me the direction of restaurants that were still open... more

We had to adopt to the timezone and decided to stay for two nights in Atlanta. The location was great and we enjoyed the Georgia Aquarium. However - everything in the hotel felt dirty - touching things wasn't really nice. My first suggestion was to remove all the old dirty carpets and the hotel would definitly have a better look... more

This was a horrible experience for me starting from the time I made the reservations. First, I booked a room for two for two nights, the total price was suppose to be $154.45. and it had to be pre-paid, no refunds for anything. Ok, I don't plan on cancelling so I go ahead. They charged my account $1550.00. I would... more

I spent 3 nights in this hotel as part of a group in Atlanta that needed to stay near the world congress center. It's proximity to the WCC (about a 10 minute walk) and the MARTA are the only things I can recommend. The hotel is in obvious disrepair. One member of my party had to change rooms in the... more

I stay in downtown Atlanta in the summer annually for DragonCon. I've stayed at two other hotels, that are admittedly of higher caliber, namely the Hyatt and the Westin. Nonetheless, they'll be what I'm comparing this one towards. The Days Inn is about 1 block from the Hyatt and Westin so in location they're very comparable. You can walk to... more

I'm pretty laid back and easy going and I understand that it's hard working in customer service but I only had 1 out of 4 workers at the desk actually try and be nice to us the entire time we stayed there. They misquoted our price when we checked in and when we checked out there was no apology. On... more

Stayed here recently to attend the gift fair, and the 4 night's stay was paid for by the organization running the fair, so I stayed for free. The room was a good size, but the fittings were a bit worn. The heater was basic but did the job, although there was no thermostat on it so temperature control was non-existent.... more

A good hotel for the money. We stayed there to attend a concert at Phillips Arena. It was within very easy and safe walking distance to the arena and area restaurants. The staff was very friendly and effective. checkin was 3:00pm, we arrived at 2:00pm at they got us right in. The only problems was theres a $15.00 charge for... more

This is the most horrible hotel that I’ve ever stayed at. I was bitten by bed bug in this hotel. Ignorant as I am about bed bugs, I thought it was a mosquito bite. I left the hotel for home the next day and my sister stayed there for one more night. On Friday, my sister called me saying that... more

It was my first time in Atlanta (Nov 07) and I wanted to be located in the central of downtown. Booked the Days Inn on hotels.com because it was quite cheap. First impression - outdated. The reception staff werent that friendly but the attached restaurant staff are quite friendly and the food was alright. The room I had was spacious... more
