The bridge construction is definitely an issue. But this hotel was close to everything we planned to visit, and the shuttle service was excellent. This hotel was almost impossible to get to because of the 14th St. bridge being out. You need to go up State St. to 14th. The hotel was a bit run down. For example, the shower head was loose. As others have said, the construction on the road near the hotel will screw your directions up. I recommend calling ahead to find out the best way there, because Google maps will have you going on roads that are closed for construction right now.
