Found heaven at the Inn when tragedy in my family was the worst in my life at 70. The loving of Inn staff was tremendous. After 2 months at the Inn and still here they are still showing me love and support. I will not trade the most elite hotel in the world and I have travelled the world. This... More

We stayed here to visit our granddaughter at Emory University. It is so convenient to the University literally across the road. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but our room was great. It was very large and seemed to have been recently renovated. I think it was room 225. The continental breakfast was limited but fine with good... More

This weekend, I stayed here for two nights. The positive: the rooms were absolutely gorgeous! The beds were comfortable and the heated lamp in the bathroom was definitely a plus! Also, downtown was 15 minutes away so the location was perfect! The negative: I had specifically asked for a first floor room because I'm pregnant but inconveniently ended up on... More

We greatly regret when our guest's issues are not addressed satisfactorily. We appreciate all reviews and strive to address all issues. It is our policy that if a guest calls one time to complain about noise that we address that with those making the noise which we did. If a 2nd complaint is made we call the police to manage... I booked one of the "renovated rooms" for my stay here last week and found the room to be modern and comfortable. Despite its high profile neighborhood, the University Inn is quite unpretentious and seems to be a welcome retreat. I had a friend in at the hospital, which was the main purpose of my visit. Upon my arrival, I... More

The hotel was very nice. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The room was recently renovated, it has a nice finish and very comfortable and spacious. We stayed in early January so the pool was closed but we sat next to it at one of the tables and it was very relaxing. We enjoyed the breakfast area with our Starbucks... More

I was quoted one price over the phone and then told a completely different, much higher rate once I arrived. I had to wait outside for 10 minutes before someone came to the door to check me in. During my wait I got to see a parade of cockroaches that were easily the largest cockroaches I've ever seen in the... More

Your comment is very important to us. We would like to apologize that you were not connected with management during your stay. I am assuming that you were not in a renovated room. We have put in a new wifi system that has addressed many of the issues of low wifi reception. As to the rate you paid we would... More

My wife and I had to go to the Hospital for her day surgery and decided upon the Inn to stay. the room was clean and the hospitality displayed to us was exceptional. the bathrooms were in good condition as compared to some higher priced hotels we have stayed at. all in all it was a great experience.

I recently stayed at the University Inn at Emory for a conference on campus. I arrived during the late afternoon. During the hospitality hour drinks were served in the lobby, and a very nice lady brought me a glass of wine then sat with me and told me about local restaurants within walking distance. The room itself was spacious with... More

I stayed here recently for business and while there was nothing terribly wrong, there were many small issues which led to a disappointing stay. First, the wi-fi did not work on my lower-floor room at night. Mysteriously it worked (albeit slow) in the morning. When I turned the shower up full blast, a noise came out of the shower (presumably... More

From the reviews I read I wasn't sure what to expect , but I was pleasantly surprised. We needed to be in the Decatur area and because of several events we were having trouble finding a room in the area. Took the room at the university inn, it was more than we needed( it had a kitchen) but at least... More
