I had a very positive experience at the University Inn. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. They have a refrigerator, microwave, wi-fi, and continental breakfast, and wine/beer in lobby afternoons on weekdays. Everything you could ask for. They are in the process of renovating rooms; I stayed in an unrenovated one and it was fine. Others in... More

Met a couple of friends from college here for a girls weekend, and the University Inn was perfect for us. The location of the hotel was safe and convenient; the room was clean and comfortable; the staff was friendly and helpful; and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, and afternoon coffee and snacks. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is in a great location if you have to go to the university or the hospital. Some of the rooms were to have been updated but did not find updates that impressive to me. The guy that checked is in was not very friendly. Flet the price was a little high for the quality of the rooms.

Thank you for your review. Our guests comments are of the utmost importance which we value very highly. I would like to note that you did not stay in a renovated room, in fact, you stayed in one of the 5 rooms that have not yet been renovated in that building. We have material on site to renovate those rooms... More

We had a positive experience at The University Inn at Emory where we stayed for 8 days. The staff was friendly. It is located in a very good area, near Atlanta. Received vouchers to use the fitness at Emory campus.

The room was very clean and spacious. A good night's sleep and a nice breakfast. Place was quiet with amenities nearby. Only took us seventeen minutes to drive downtown at 7:15 on Monday morning. Amazing! Looking forward to next visit.

I had a wonderful stay recently at the University Inn. The redecorated room was very spacious and comfortable. The Inn is in a great location, and its hospitality is welcoming. The reception area is inviting, the breakfast granola and coffee were delicious, and the happy hour is great way to relax and meet interesting people. This Inn is a special... More

This is a old, and privately owned, motel across from the Emory campus. We stayed in rooms with full kitchens because we were in town for a week, so this was very helpful in cutting down on expenses of eating out. It has wifi - but not very stable. It has a tiny pool, but did not use because it... More

Thank you for your kind review. We are a family owned Inn that has served Emory University, Emory Hospital and the historic Druid Hills community since 1971. Next time you stay with us, please ask for our renovated rooms if a microwave and refrigerator are sufficient. We look forward to serving you again next time you visit Atlanta. More

I am replying on behalf of my guest that described their experience at the Emory Inn. I reserved and booked a room for two nights for out of town residents that were visiting their child at Egleston's Children Hospital. Originally I booked a room at Holiday Inn, but unfortunately they were booked up so Emory Inn was the next closest... More

We would like to address these issues with the guest directly. We would not knowingly put anything with blood on it in a room. We have not been able to attain contact information for the guest directly, therefore, have not been able to reconcile these issues. The room was thoroughly double checked and cleaned after their departure. More

I have been staying at the University Inn over the past four years while my son has been a student at Emory University, from the time we first brought him to school as a freshman. Each stay has been a wonderful one. The setting is lovely and the renovated rooms are a big plus. The staff are friendly and hospitable.... More

I recently stayed at the Inn for a business trip. Negatives:I was looking forward to the pool, which was closed for "cleaning" the whole time we were there, 1st room I was given was very old and had numerous stains on the furniture and carpet - felt icky just standing in the middle of the room. The bathroom fixtures were... More

We regret that your experience was not what you had hoped for. Our outdoor pool is open May 1 through October 1 and therefore not open during your dates of stay. Regarding the state of the rooms, you were in one of 5 rooms that have not yet been renovated and unfortunately we were sold out of the renovated rooms... More
