We visited the Aloft Atlanta Downtown in May 2014 (a couple of months after it opened). We had numerous problems with our stay, especially with housekeeping -- the room was not cleaned on two of the four days we were there. Any requests for items to be brought to the room (for example, extra coat hangers, cups for water that... More

This place was more like a nightclub than a hotel. Excruciatingly loud music in the lobby and by the pool (& you can hear it in the rooms). Scantily dressed people dancing all over the place. NOT for kids.

I called the hotel from the Atlanta airport where I was stranded. They could not find my business account on the phone---even though I have a corporate account and are one of the largest companies in the world. I was too tired to keep asking the operator. I booked and then immediately---and I mean immediately called twice to cancel as... More

This W spinoff hotel was great. We stayed here during Memorial Day weekend 2014, and though they had issues with locating our reservation due to using an outside vendor (I think it was hotels.com), the manager came by and was very courteous. All was well in the end. Pros: Bliss products in the rooms (!!!!), plenty of parking available, walking... More

The hotel is modern deco which I like, bed was extremely comfy rooms were nice and spacious. I did a lot of research on rooms before picking this one. They are ONE OF... More

I checked in on a Sunday night around 8pm. It took 20 minutes - very frustrating. The lady who helped me was nice but not efficient. It took forever. She kept answering the phone and instead of placing them on hold, she stopped my check in and answered their questions. She received a call from an in-house guest who was... More

This was my second stay in their 8 weeks being open. Although I understand that opening a new hotel is challenging, basic communication is a task regardless this fact. I brought several items to the attention of the front-desk. Unfortunately none of the items were actioned during my stay (noise, wifi, breakfast) The rooms, as in every Aloft, are beautiful,... More

I have stayed in 2 other Aloft hotels so I'm familiar with the brand of this "industrial chic", "budget boutique" hotel. But this place just opened 1 month ago, we were told. Rooms number signs, tile baseboards, and even the elevator arm rails were falling off walls! Our first day, the maid never came to clean the room. Front desk... More

Stayed for my birthday and was disappointed. Lovely hotel but there was no hot water and the desk clerk didn't tell anyone. They allowed people to check in and take the money knowing the water issue! The so-called manager was a very young guy that conveniently walked away when confronted by hotel guests. We had to literally fuss and have... More

Hi ATLTravelDiva, Thank you for checking out the new Aloft Atlanta Downtown. Regretfully, we did experience issues with our hot water supply on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, and understand how frustrating the situation was for our guests during that time. What we thought would be a quick fix ended up taking longer than anticipated to resolve. Once we realized... More

Great location ~ 1 block from Centennial Park, nice new hotel. Very clean, nice exercise room & pool. Not very kid friendly, geared more for a business traveler. $20 to park. I've heard Aloft as looking as though IKEA threw up a hotel and décor wise that is about accurate. Friendly staff. Good stay, but with the kids I'll book... More
