My brother and I were planning to stay here on a Saturday to attend a college football game at the Georgia Dome. We booked the place about 8 weeks in advance. The week of our upcoming stay, we got an e-mail that said our reservation was canceled. We even had a confirmation number from 8 weeks earlier when we booked!... More

My husband and I expected a beautiful room...as pictured on website! The room was very worn looking, dusty, dirty, marks on walls, bulbs blown out, very disappointing!! We attended the Gift show downtown, when we tried to get cabs, they refused to go to the neighborhood!!! We did not feel safe, walking to Marta. The owner was very nice, but... More

My one-night stay at tea cakes was a pleasant respite after a busy day at the Conference Center. The house is very close to the MARTA station, the hostesses are absolutely delightful, and the rooms clean and quaint. My breakfast (sweet potato waffles) were amazing!! I wasn't put off at all by the neighborhood, and was actually pleased at how... More

My husband and I have stayed in numerous B&B's through the states, and were excited to try Tea Cakes. We chose the B&B at the last minute based off the website. Our alternate plan was the St. Regis in Buckhead, and how I wish we had chosen that!!! We were less than impressed. For the money, you can get a... More

I usually stay in decent hotels whenever I travel nothing lower than 3 1/2 st ars at the least. My partner only likes to stay in B & B's because they are more personal and cleaner. I began my search for a B &B in Atlanta since we would be visiting the city for a few days, to my delight... More

After a lot of research and because I liked the name (!) I booked Tea Cakes on the internet for our first ever B&B experience for the first 4 nights of our 15 day trip to Georgia at the end of May 2008. It looked charming on the website and we weren’t disappointed. Friendly emails were sent before our arrival... More

I booked two nights at Tea Cakes B & B directly off the hotel website. I thought their room rate was reasonable and was attracted to close proximity to downtown activities. We arrived and met the owner, who graciously showed us up to our room, the DuBignon Suite, which is really not a suite in hotel parlance (which would suggest... More

Great hosts Great accomodation Great location Why stay in a downtown "clone room" hotel when you can be away from the noise and dirt. Seconds away from the MARTA which can get you to the Dome, Aquararium and Atlanta Central in minutes. We cannot recommend this B&B highly enough for your trip to Atlanta!

We had a great time at Tea Cakes B&B in Atlanta! Our hosts, Karcheik & Joel were friendly and very accommodating. They were able to handle serving a 'gluten-free' b'fast and provided juices and snacks as well. They assisted us with tour booking and checking on special events to attend. Their home is lovely, well furnished and we had access... More
