There are 2 hotels next to each other, the Emory Inn and the Emory Confernence Center. The Inn is small, simple and old-fashioned. The conference center is sophisticated, roomy and chic. The conference center has been one of the best Atlanta hotels for years but it seems to be loosing some of its charm. The prices do not include breakfast... more

The Emory Inn is not what I would have expected from a hotel that bears the name of Emory University. The room was tiny, with barely enough space for two people to pass each other on the way to the bathroom. The bathroom itself was so small that my legs were pushed to the side when the door was closed.... more

At the current prices (October 2008) for anything, a hotel room for between 110-150 per night should be a nice experience. The Emory Inn is not and is likely to be scraped in the not too distant future, no loss, according to friends here. Don't believe the website, this is a real bait and switch. The hotel is a motel... more

We stayed a few days while a family member was undergoing leukemia treatment at Emory Hospital. The room was comfortable, and clean; but the Inn was a bit shabby. Worn carpets, ripped wall paper, in it's prime looked to be a very posh inn. Staff was very courteous and attentive, booked solid we requested another night stay, they took our... more

The property includes two distinct facilities: the Inn and the Conference Center. The Inn is an older hotel that would benefit from some renovations. The rooms, furnishing, and beds are showing their age. The area is relatively safe, though each room is entered from the street. Breakfast is fair at best. The Inn houses the Le Giverny Bistro, a rather... more

I stayed at the Emory Inn for a business trip with CDC. Convenience to the CDC facility is definitely a plus, BUT it isn't close to anything else and transportation to anywhere is pricey. I was not aware of any elevators, so anyone who has a large amount of luggage or is unable to climb stairs easily is out of... more

I stayed here to attend a meeting at the CDC, which is just across the street. Overall, the Emory Inn is clean and very convenient if you have business to do at the CDC, American Cancer Society, or Emory University. The continental breakfast was basic, but was included in the price of the stay and was adequate. The staff were... more

Went to Atlanta's CDC for a conference, stayed at the Emory Inn for 4 nights. On the average, a good value for money stay. The room is not huge and a bit dim. But it is neat, clean and well kept. There is cable TV, fridge, microwave and coffee making facilities. Free breakfast consists of bagels, muffins, crossiants and sometimes... more

The lobby and grounds are rather nice, as is the French restaurant on the premises. Our room itself was a bit disappointing however - a little small and a little dark, but certainly presentable and comfortable. more

Comfortable and convenient place to stay if you have business at Emory and/or NIH. Attractive lobby and pool area. Rooms are nicely decorated and well-maintained. Emory Inn is the less expensive sister of the Emory Conference Center, a much more comprehensive and luxurious hotel property, which is immediately adjacent. Inn guests can use the Center's athletic facilities, which are super.... more
